One of our favorite events of summer, the Benton-Franklin Fair & Rodeo in Kennewick, and one of the neatest days: Tough Enough to Wear Pink Day. For every person who wore pink that day, the Fair donated $1 towards preventative care and treatment of breast cancer for residents of the community. A great day lending a hand at the Fair!

Washington Trust was pleased to present Mobius Discovery Center with a $10,0000 contribution in support of the Mobius Scholarship Foundation. These funds will help cover the cost of day visit tickets and family memberships to the Discovery Center and will focus on providing the Center’s program offerings to children from low- and moderate-income families throughout the Spokane Valley area.
We celebrate the work Mobius Discovery Center is doing to foster critical thinking and problem-solving in young children through the enriching experience of STEAM learning.
Each month, we celebrate our employees with the Legendary Award. Nominated by their peers, we present the award to recognize employees who have inspired those around them by representing Washington Trust’s core pillars of Wisdom, Vision, Passion, and Strength.

Today, Washington Trust had the privilege of joining AHANA - Multi-Ethnic Business Association as it celebrated the grand opening of its new location in Spokane's University District with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
We were honored to present a $100,000 donation to AHANA, supporting their mission of championing multiethnic and multicultural businesses in the Inland Northwest.
The new facility at 327 E. Pacific includes offices, a training room, and small business incubator spaces, enabling AHANA to expand their services and better support the community.
We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to AHANA's vision and are excited to see the positive impact this new space will have on local entrepreneurs.
Washington Trust was beyond excited to attend Habitat for Humanity Seattle - King County's open house at their Yarrow Cottages property in the South Park neighborhood of Seattle. We got to see the incredible work Habitat for Humanity is doing in delivering affordable housing and get an up-close look at the beautiful homes being created for families in our community.
While attending, Christin Malek learned more about their impactful homeownership model and how it's transforming lives. This event served to build a stronger connection with community members and others dedicated to supporting affordable housing.
We are proud to support Habitat for Humanity’s mission and to be part of a community making affordable housing a reality.

For more than 70 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue has committed to providing safe places for Bellevue’s youth when they are not in school. In 2023 they served more than 16,000 youth, across 18 clubs, with 348 programs. In June, Hope Alonzo and Robert Harvie presented them with a $10,000 contribution to support their impactful work. Thanks for all you do for the kids in your community!
Teen & Kid Closet provides new or gently used clothing to children who need it, for free, with a focus on youth in foster care or living in poverty. For TKC, it’s all about dignity for an often-overlooked population. We were honored to support their work as a sponsor of the third annual Bourbon, Bacon & Brews fundraiser. Our team had a blast at this one-of-a-kind event! Learn more about TKC at https://www.teenkidcloset.org/.
Sometimes, we could all use something to brighten our days. That’s why we have . Could be a thank you basket for first responders. Could be a free espresso drink for everyone in line. This time it was team members out across the Washington Trust footprint distributing gift cards for use at local minority-owned businesses. We’re passionate about providing the best for the communities we serve, and even a small, random gesture can go a long way.
