It’s important that coaches reflect on our practices not only to aid our students’ learning but also to improve ourselves. 📖🤙💥 To my discredit I was hyper focused on the finish technique which is really good for this 12 year-old; relaxed, body curled over the ball, balanced feet, and control to stay on the feet or fall forward. ⚠️From looking at the video think that I may have missed the coaching point on the footwork and vertical consistency (avoiding the bounce with a quick tapping of the feet while on the toes) 🔥⚽️❤️🍻 and I wonder if I should have regressed the practice a bit to focus on that point. 🍻🎼For me, this low ball where a goalkeeper makes subtle circular movements to get into ball line to make basket or smother save is significant part of my coaching practice. We are seeing a tournament event planner for 4 v 4 and Keeper Wars competitions to be coordinated alongside soccer camps for June and July.

This is a ground for position ideal for someone with an entreprenueral mindset, detail-oriented, a team player, and equipped with leadership traits to organize the initial planning, marketing, and growth for the future.

Today's skill challenge is the side contour, where the goalkeeper uses footwork that "gets the goalkeeper's head behind the ball and enables them to have their arms in proper shape."

When considering balance and the shape of the head, core, and legs, the side contour is exactly the same as the basket, except the hands are in front of the chest or head creating "double security."
