Ash Wednesday Service today at 6:00 p.m.
Almighty and everlasting God, you hate nothing you have made and forgive the sins of all who are penitent: Create and make in us new and contrite hearts, that we, worthily lamenting our sins and acknowledging our wretchedness, may obtain of you, the God of all mercy, perfect remission and forgiveness; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
A great time was had by all at our annual Shrove Tuesday pancake feed and auction! Thanks to all who joined us! See you Wednesday at 6pm for Ash Wednesday Service.
It's also a good day to eat pancakes!

Our Story
We are a loving, historic, inclusive Episcopal community, serving the heart of Spokane since 1927! Join us every Sunday morning at 8:00 a.m. for our quiet, contemplative service, or at 10:30 a.m. for our traditional service with sacred music. The 8:00 service is followed by coffee hour, and lunch is served after the 10:30 service.
Jesus commanded us to love our neighbors as ourselves. (Matthew 22:39) From sharing meals with the homeless in West Central, to comforting the families of prisoners, we are passionate about putting our faith into action. Service is is not an afterthought at St. Andrew’s; it is at the very heart of our mission and calling as a community. Each week we pray, “Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth…” because we long to transform the world, “from the nightmare it often is, into the dream that God intends.” Thus, we seek to create a church which is a beacon of kindness in central Spokane.
St. Andrew’s is located in the Emerson Garfield neighborhood, just five minutes from downtown Spokane and Gonzaga University, at the corner of N. Howard & W. Carlisle streets.
Wherever you are on your journey of faith, you are welcome here.
