Last week WSU Spokane Native American Health Sciences wrapped up another year of their summer program, OLD WAYS. This program provided students with a deeper understanding of Indigenous history and concepts to grow their healthcare practices with traditional knowledge.
This summer's attendees toured the Fort Spokane Boarding School, learned the history of the Spokane Tribe of Indians, and received hands-on learning with traditional plants, teas, and medicines.
What a great way to end the summer and jump into the new school year! 🐾 🩺
