After a great night with Lucky Losers we are looking forward to a fabulous finale concert with Nu Jack City next Thursday.

Lucky Losers will swing into town from San Francisco stopping at the Coeur d'Alene Park to be a part of the Browne's Addition Summer Concerts this week.

Winners of 5 Independent Blues Awards in 2021, The Lucky Losers are San Francisco’s finest male/female duet fronted band — a throwback to the hybrid of soul, blues, rock, gospel, and country that emerged in the late 1960’s with impassioned vocal performances, electrifying musical interplay, and powerful harmonica.

Since 2015, The Lucky Losers have completed numerous national tours, performing on stages in over 42 states. Their artistic achievements have garnered 15 award nominations.The Lucky Losers, fronted by Phil Berkowitz and Cathy Lemons, are a 6-piece touring ensemble comprised of veteran roots musicians from the Bay Area.

The keyboard player, Chris Burns, has played and toured with many blues music luminaries such as Joe Louis Walker, Maria Muldaur & Little Milton…just to name few.
In addition to Chris, Simon Govan Smith will be playing guitar. Simon is a seasoned player, originally from Australia, whom as a young man, worked as an A&R representative for Warner Music Group and was responsible for signing the band, INXS.

The band is rounded out by a strong rhythm section consisting of Edgar San Gabriel, another Bay Area music veteran who has toured the world with a wide array of artists; And Myles Silveira, a gifted young drummer who has been studying the technique of legendary Chicago Chess Records drummers like Fred Below and Sam Lay since the age of 10.

Front Porch Rockers challenged the heat and entertained a friendly crowd as the sunny went down.

The music by Front Porch Rockers brought out dancers including Katie and Indiana Merrifield.

Tomorrow the Front Porch Rockers will join us on the east side of the Coeur d'Alene Park gazebo. Based the weather forecast, the Front Porch Rockers have chosen to go on the shady side. So when you bring your chairs or blankets plan to sit on the side where the band has set up. These guys hav been singing and playing for a long time and we are looking forward to hearing them.

Soul Proprietor and lower temps will combine to make a dynamite night at Coeur d'Alene Park for the Browne's Addition Concert Series tomorrow IThursday, July 25). This big band always brings a really big sound and we are looking forward to it.

This week the temps will be much lower and Soul Proprietor will be rocking in Coeur d’Alene Park. STCU and Innovia Foundation are helping bring fabulous music to the Browne’s Addition Summer Concerts.

Free Whiskey will play on the east side of the gazebo tonight. We would love to see you. There is shade for both the band and the audience.

Villa Blues 'n Jazz will be playing on the east side of the gazebo to take advantage of the shade for the band and the listeners who will take advantage of the break in the heat to hear great music. See you there!

We will be on the East side of the gazebo tonight to maximize the shade for the band as well as the lucky listeners.

We are hoping the projected break in the heat holds so Villa Blues ‘n Jazz can share their great tunes. We have moved to the East side of the gazebo to take advantage of the shade while the sprinkler system is being installed. We will have some cold water available. So unless you hear differently we will be on schedule Thursday.

Music under the trees at Coeur d'Alene Park will be provided by Time Baby tonight. The fabulous music is made possible by the major sponsors - STCU and the Innovia Foundation celebrating its 50th anniversary. Time Baby is a jazz fusion group that was one of three winners of Spokane Public Radio's Firehouse Sessions contest earlier this year.

Browne's Addition Summer Concerts have a fabulous line up of performers because of the support of Major Sponsors STCU and the innovia Foundation celebrating its 50th Anniversary. Rain has called for the cancellation of the Free Whiskey concert tonight. So sorry.

When the fires threatened we had to cancel the Celtic band Free Whiskey but they will rock out Thursday (Aug. 31) at the gazebo in Coeur d'Alene Park. This is a don't miss end of the season concert. They are the house band at O'Doherty's Irish Grille

Tonight, Aug. 24, the weather is fabulous for a performance by Soul Proprietor. We hope to see you.

It Is time to put the special concert to benefit the fund to make improvements to Coeur d’Alene Park on your calendar for Sept. 10. Plan to bring your picnic and your friends at
4 pm to hear The Rising, featuring Sean Owsley, Mike Lynch and Shane Chamberlain. The Browne’s Addition Neighborhood Council and Friends of Coeur d’Alene Park asks for a minimum donation of $10.

Thursday night’s (Aug.17) Browne’s Addition Summer Concert has been cancelled due to extreme heat. The warnings from the National Weather Service and the local health department helped the Mardi Gras Growlers and the members of the Browne’s Addition Neighborhood Council Executive Board make the decision to cancel Thursday’s performance.

“The band made the final, difficult decision to cancel the concert and we will make every effort to put them on next year’s playbill,” said Concert Coordinator Annie Matlow.

The health of the band and the audience members was the deciding factor. Because a potential reschedule date was too close to a Sept.10 benefit concert with The Rising, featuring KHQ’s Sean Owsley, the concert was not rescheduled.

Great news! Free Whiskey has agreed to reschedule a concert on Aug 31. Fires forced the cancellation of the Aug 3 concert so we missed the Celtic rock sounds of Free Whiskey. We look forward to this additional concert.

Stagecoach West has been entertaining folks throughout the Inland Northwest for 50 years and tomorrow night they will be rocking it in Coeur d’Alene Park. Fire and smoke kept us away last week but the weather report for tomorrow looks great. See you there!!

Due to the fire close by and the air quality, the Browne’s Addition Neighborhood Council has cancelled the concert tonight by Free Whiskey.
