We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the renovation project for the Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest's Retail location in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. This project, located at 1212 N 4th Street, now features a modern retail store, a functional donation center, and a brand-new Workforce and Family Services office, which will provide essential employment and finance management programs to the community.

The grand opening celebration took place on July 8th, and the store is now open for thrifting! This achievement is the result of a fantastic collaboration between Goodwill Industries, Bernardo Wills, and Baker Construction.

We extend our gratitude to everyone involved in this project. Your hard work and dedication have made a significant positive impact on the Coeur d'Alene community.

The Clinic Building landscape at Excelsior is an exciting opportunity for Bernardo Wills to assist with intimate clinical counseling spaces outdoors, intended to supplement their indoor therapy facility. Historically, the site has strong ties to Native American culture and with it, a spiritual past and connections to nature. This provided cues for the therapeutic landscape design that was created.

We're thrilled to share the exciting updates on the Lincoln Heights Shopping Center! The crews from have been hard at work getting ready to revitalize the exterior facade and enhance the surrounding site to create a more inviting and functional space for everyone.

Key highlights of this project include the addition of fresh concrete sidewalks and curbing, beautiful new planters and landscaping, and a redesigned parking layout to improve convenience and access for tenants and visitors alike. The exterior facade remodel took inspiration from past renovations, blending elements seamlessly to achieve a cohesive and modern aesthetic that honors the center's history.

This transformation is more than just a facelift—it's a testament to our commitment to creating vibrant, welcoming spaces that serve our community. Stay tuned for more updates!

🎉 We did it! 🎉 Today, we helped celebrate the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Post Street Bridge!

Working alongside KPFF Engineers, our team at Bernardo Wills developed multiple concepts for the bridge deck, all inspired by the incredible feedback from our community during the public engagement process.

Our landscape architecture design highlights breathtaking views of the falls and prioritizes pedestrian space and public safety. The transparent guard railing ensures that those gorgeous views remain unobstructed, while providing ample protection.

To create a sense of continuity, we incorporated the City of Spokane’s standard historic pedestrian lights, seamlessly connecting downtown to the north side of the river. Plus, we added site furniture, like benches and bright colored planter boxes, to add interest and a human touch. These vibrant orange planters are easily movable, making the bridge deck perfect for large public events. 🌷🪑🌟

The thoughtful landscaping and pedestrian safety features extend to both ends of the bridge, seamlessly blending into the existing downtown streetscapes. We can't wait for you to experience the transformed Post Street Bridge!
