Sunday notes Never too Far🔥
Healing comes on the heels of humility.
Corruption will always catch up to you. What you sow in sin you will reap in destruction.
Your damage doesn’t diminish God’s dream.
With Jesus there is ALWAYS hope.
Don’t disconnect when you get face to face with God- you can’t skip over the healing, forgiving, the deep inner work. When you stop hiding- freedom can come.
Lean into the limp. It’s a reality check. A reminder of the grace God poured out when you were in the pit.
ONLY God can restore and redeem.
Happy Thursday Real Life!
What an amazing sunny day we have! Thank you Jesus for some sunshine finally!
I love that God has put us in Spokane together in this special time of history. We have no idea what Jesus has in mind - but we want so much to be in the middle of what he is doing. I am so thankful that you are a part of this church with us. What a joy to have a community of friends learning to follow Jesus together. I am so thankful that Jesus put us in a city that has hundreds of thousands of people that do not know and follow Jesus. This is our passion. Love and lead people to Jesus. Become the kind of church that people can find Jesus here in powerful ways. Each one of us has a part to play in that. Loving people. Serving. Giving. Praying. Worshipping. Being set on fire with the love of Jesus inside of us. I love this time of year as we build toward Easter. We get to invite people and love people in powerful ways. I pray you are encouraged and filled with the confidence of God today. Pastor Richie
The Pressure is his Purpose - often it feels like pressure is punishment - but often pressure is God getting us turned around and walking toward his purpose for our lives.
”This is what the Lord says: “Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the Lord. That person will be like a bush in the wastelands; they will not see prosperity when it comes. They will dwell in the parched places of the desert, in a salt land where no one lives. “But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”

Easter Sunday is coming! A day when we celebrate the power of Jesus over sin and death. His resurrection is a sign to anyone and everyone - that you are never too far from God’s love and mercy. No matter where you have been - God’s love can reach to the depths of any circumstance and pull you out. Jesus’ resurrection is a picture of the lengths God will go to. He will go the depths to rescue anyone. He loves you.
We’re so excited to spend the day with YOU!
New series starting today - Never Too Far. 9 and 10:30.
His presence changes us. See you soon🤟🏻
I am so excited to begin this new series on Sunday - Never Too Far. God has story after story in scripture where we see people running from God, rebelling against God, being hurt, betrayed and in crazy circumstances. All of these stories have this common thread that no one is ever too far from God’s love and mercy. God is so good. So powerful. So loving. So merciful. We see the evidence of it in all of these stories. I can’t wait to share some stories with you. I pray you and anyone you know will be encouraged and drawn into relationship with Jesus. Pastor Richie
We hope to see you tomorrow at church ⛪️
It’s going to be a powerful day - 9 and 10:30. Come worship Jesus with us!
Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.“

It’s a situation. Monday memes.
What a powerful day in The House of God! Church notes-
Married or single< satisfied in God🔥
Don’t get so caught up in relationships that you miss the most important one- Jesus.
This is not our story- This is God’s story.
No human relationship will ever satisfy.
Comparison kills. Contentment is crucial.
Whole and wholly- undivided devotion to Jesus whether we are single or married.
What was Jesus speaking to you?
5 truths about God’s love for you. ❤️
”Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.“ Ephesians 1:4-5 NLT

So much of life gets us discouraged and fearful. We cling to the promise of his presence - He is with us in every season. He is with you. He loves you and will not forsake you. God is so good. So loving. Joshua 1.9 says - ”Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Hold onto this promise today.
Church notes.
The closer you get to God, the better your relationships will be. Fulfillment is our goal. Apart from God we won’t experience that.
Your fulfillment in any relationship is depends on your relationship to God.
“ Who eats at Chili’s anymore?!”
“ Keep it vertical kids.”
“ Character is cute.”
We LOVE being His church in Spokane with you. Tomorrow is Sunday!!! We can’t wait to see you. Invite a friend, and come expecting Jesus to move powerfully. 9, and 10:30.
”Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble.“
â€â€1 Peter‬ â€3‬:â€8‬ â€
We are made to worship. God commands us to worship him because he knows that when we worship things or people other than him, they will leave us empty and unfulfilled. Only when we worship God alone are we satisfied.
Acceptable Worship will cost us something. We bring God our first and our best.
Hebrews 12.28-29 - ”Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.”
We will see you tomorrow! 9 and 10:30. It’s going to be a special Sunday all about worship.
Happy Friday Real Life. Laughing is good. You’re so loved. Spread some love and laughter today.
I want to encourage you today. We started this fast on January 8th. We started so we could cut things from our lives that have cluttered our ability to hear from God. We are fasting because we want to intentionally put our bodies in a place of hunger and longing to match our desire for God’s presence. We are passionate and hungry for the presence of God. Let’s finish this fast strong. God has been and is doing so much in each of our lives right now - I don’t want to miss a moment of this. I am so thankful for so many of you participating in this fast. I am praying God meets you and speaks powerfully to you. Pastor Richie
Today is one of those days that I am reminded as your pastor that God can do so much more than any one of us can imagine. It is easy to make too much of our part in this spirituality. When really God has the power and ability to transform us and heal us and fill us with hope.
I want to invite you even today to begin seeking God’s presence more passionately and more intentionally. If you haven’t started fasting, start today. If you haven’t prayed before pray today. I want to encourage you to ask God for a passion for his presence. He will answer. He will fill you with that passion.
Pastor Richie
Sunday is tomorrow! We will have the heat cranked up:) We would love to see you. 9 & 10:30.
I am so thankful for this season of fasting and prayer. We have committed to 21 days of this journey and God is speaking so powerfully in so many of our lives. What are you hearing God say? What is he asking you to be like? What is wanting to change in you? I am so proud of you and desire to learn this practice of fasting. I pray God continues to speak and lead your heart. Here are a few things I’ve noticed while fasting- Pastor Richie
”May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.“
â€â€Romans‬ â€15‬:â€13‬ â€
Let’s be people who bring joy and peace to those around us. Go spread some hope today!
Reaching the world for Jesus one person at a time.
Construction is underway! We’re so excited for all that is ahead. Jesus is so faithful. If you have been apart of Real Life for a long time, are brand new, or haven’t been in a long time- we love being Jesus’ Church here in Spokane with you. We’re making room physically and spiritually for Him to do whatever HE wants to.
What a powerful day in Jesus presence! Church notes-
There is always more of Him.
God moves where He is wanted.
Fasting cuts off the calluses of our hearts that are numb to the presence of God.
God is more concerned with the person you are becoming than the things you are busy doing.
There is always more of God. Why are you keeping yourself from that?
We can’t wait to gather tomorrow for church! We’re starting this year with a passion for His presence. See you tomorrow. 9 & 10:30.
We need each other! Don’t let the enemy get you isolated in the New Year. We’re kicking off lots of new groups and would love to help you find a place to connect. Fill out the connect card on our website, or the link in stories.
Jesus more of you. That’s our heart posture as we enter a New Year. Spend some time seeking Jesus today.
”See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.“
â€â€Isaiah‬ â€43‬:â€19‬ â€
We love to start our new year in prayer and fasting. We want to invite you to a 21 day fast starting January 8th. We are asking God to give us a passion for his presence this year. In the presence of God everything changes. God always moves where he is wanted. When you fast, you are making room for God to move in your life in powerful ways. When you fast you are creating a sensitivity to his leading and his presence. Let’s start 2024 with a passion for his presence.
The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone." - John 1:4
This is our Savior: Bringing light to the darkness. Today marks the day when darkness begins to recede and light begins to return. Take time today to take a deep breath, anticipate the hope or Christmas. The true light that gives hope to everyone. Jesus.
