Happy Hogmanay! Keep a bit of Scotland in your heart tonight when you sing Auld Lang Syne, written by the Scottish Poet Robert Burns.
If you're making New Year's Resolutions, resolve to come visit us this August 5th at the Spokane County Fairgrounds.
And if you are curious to know more about Robert Burns, try the Burns Night Dinner & Dance by Spokane St. Andrew's Society. Tickets are still available.

The wait is over! Today is Games Day! Here is a sampling of what you will see today.
Things to remember:
Plan your drive in. Thor/Freya has construction
Parking is free
No pets allowed on the Fairgrounds unless they're part of the demonstrations.
Bring sunscreen and hydrate.
Don't forget to visit our vendors
Have fun!
The three long years of waiting will end tomorrow! We can't wait.
Here are some friendly reminders:
Thor/Freya exit Eastbound on I 90 is closed.
Wear Sunscreen and comfy shoes.
Portable chairs and blankets are encouraged.
No pets, so please leave your furry friends at home.
There will be vendors for both souvenirs and food.
The gates open at 9:00 am.
Opening ceremonies at Noon.
Bring your Highland spirit and have fun!
Two more days until the Spokane Highland Games at the Interstate Fairgrounds. Come watch our athletes perform feats of strength, including the famous Caber Toss.

We will have a number of clans represented. In 2019, we had one from a wee bit north of Scotland.
The Highland Games are coming this Saturday at the Interstate Fairgrounds. The weather may be hot now, but a cool down is coming.
The Highland Cattle (or Heilan Coos in the Scot's vernacular) will be happy to see you there, hot or not.
