The Episcopal Diocese of Spokane
We are the Episcopal Church in Eastern Washington & North Idaho. Our vision is to be creative and compelling witnesses to Jesus Christ in the Inland Northwest.

Wells, established 23 missions in the late 19th century and became the first Bishop of Spokane in 1892. The early part of the 20th c
“We call on all Anglicans… to proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom: by recognising within science God-given resources for the life of faith, and thereby removing it as a barrier to proclamation and belief; by drawing on science as inspiration for our worship to the praise and glory of God.”

Every fall we gather in our regions to share in formation and fellowship, learning and sharing. The time for this is always within 30 days of convention. It has never however, been the Saturday before, until now. But don’t panic! We will not be asking you to drive for a 5 hour meeting the week before convention, instead, we have a great opportunity to gather by zoom on October 12, from 10am- noon, to learn from Canon Stephanie Spellers (Canon to the Presiding Bishop) about engaging in deep listening and conversation. The program “From Many, One: Conversations across Difference is a program designed to help us learn how to engage our family, friends, and neighbors in meaningful ways that creates hospitable, respectful and generous space for story sharing. We will not gather in person this fall for gathering day, instead this zoom will be our gathering day. All are invited to join in this important learning. “Speak Lord, we are listening” – come learn another way to listen and love our neighbors on October 12, 10 am – noon.
