Unlike the other paint-your-own pottery places, our studio also offers our customers the option of working with clay! People of all ages come to our studio to experience the thrill of turning a lump of clay into a fantastic piece of art by taking part in our experiences or lessons. Tuesdays to Saturdays 10am to 6pm
Sundays 1pm to 6pm
Friday and Saturday nights After-Hours: 6pm-9pm by reservation only

Our Story
The Clay Pot is a pottery studio located in Spotswood, New Jersey. We opened our doors in 2008 making all of our pieces by hand and continue to do this today. This ensures that you get beautiful, one of a kind, hand-crafted pieces unlike the typical pottery painting places. And unlike the paint-your-own pottery places, we also offer our clients the option to work with clay. People of all ages come to our studio to experience the thrill of turning a lump of clay into a fantastic piece of art by taking part in our wheel-experiences and wheel-lessons. We also offer hand building with clay.
The Clay Pot grows every year with the support of its staff, students and local community. We are excited to share our passion for clay and creativity with you.
OUR HOURS:
Monday to Friday from 10 am to 6pm and by reservation only from 6pm to 9pm
Saturday from 10am – 3pm and from 3:30pm to 8pm for private parties (reservations required for all parties)
We are closed on Sundays
