New product alert!!! We are excited to announce that we have partnered with a fantastic local micro-bakery Risen Dough Bakery Their current menu includes handcrafted sourdough bread loaves, cinnamon rolls, chocolate chip cookies, croissants, and even pop tarts!!!! Fresh loaves can be made on request and picked up inside our farm store on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Give them a follow on their socials and take advantage of their two week special of a free six count cookie with your order. You won’t be disappointed!!

UPDATE: The tunnel is now open enough to drive thru so pickup can continue as normal!!

Milk customers that have orders for pickup tonight please check in before you leave to make sure you have a way to get thru. With the recent rain today our tunnel has flooded and you won’t be able to make it without a 🛶

There’s an ancient milk maiden tale that says milk production quadruples when performed during a total solar eclipse. We (Nick) were committed to putting this tale to the test.

I milked during the exact moment of maximum totality…..which was naturally confirmed using an ancient practice of paper plate Eclispus Maximus.

Only after maximum darkness was observed did I fire up the milk machine and I’m happy to report this ancient tale is right on point 5000 years later

We have a rare overstock occurrence…any milk dates 3/21 or older is now only 💲4️⃣ per jar. Cash only and FCFS while supplies last!

We generally see a shelf life of 14-16 days so there is still plenty of time left to enjoy!!!

Who doesn’t go straight to the half gallon of raw milk when they need a drink?!

With spring break and spring/summer ball schedules filling up the calendar we know we will have some milking needs very soon!

We are in need of 3-5 individuals/families that want to sign on as reserve milkers. Having multiple reserve milker options would help lessen the burden on any one particular individual and increase likelihood of schedules aligning.

Yay for new products!!! We have added a couple new items to the milk cooler….heavy cream and skim milk!!! Treat yourself to the best cup of coffee or save the calories and enjoy the “milk light” version of the dairy world. Either way you won’t be disappointed! 🎉

Need a last minute Thanksgiving dessert?! I have one pumpkin cheesecake ready and can have another ready later this evening, they just need chilled overnight. It is a 9” cheesecake and weighs over 5.5 pounds, so will easily serve at least 10-12!!🤤

We had a big night last night welcoming 9 healthy Bernedoodle babies - 5 girls🩷 and 4 boys💙! Today consists of a big day of resting, eating, and cleaning…by the dogs and the humans!

You know you’re a farm kid when…..your mid afternoon snack is a smoked pork chop 😂

We are coming down the home stretch with Harley’s puppy journey. Her X-rays were taken today and believe it or not there are quite a few puppies in that maze. How many do you think are on there?! Follow along with us at the Ten Mile Doodles group

After two years in the making, we are finally able to share the exciting news that WE ARE EXPECTING!! Not Jenny and me, and not cows or pigs - this time from our beloved Bernedoodle Harley!

We will be sharing all of the updates in a separate group we created so we don’t inundate the farm page with all things puppy - join us there if you’re interested (link in comments). For now, here is a pic of the mama bears taking Harley to the vet this morning for her ultrasound, along with a throwback of Harley as a puppy…we can’t wait for all the puppy snuggles and puppy breath! 🐶

Breaking in the new mini T-Rex butchering gear this week as the farm works towards closing the gap between farm and fork.

The mingling of farm animals is always a fun site to see, especially when I go out to milk in the mornings. The twins were making new friends overnight as they spent the night away from momma…a necessity each evening if we want milk from mom in the morning!
