Open Sew at The Creative Place is next week, Thursday - Sunday, July 14-17, 2022. We still have a few seats available. You can come for a single day, a couple days, or the whole shebang! Commute or spend the night. And, this is a SPECIAL Open Sew, and we’re offering Free-sew Friday for 7/15! You can come sew on Friday for free (arrive as early as 7:30am - we recommend you definitely arrive by 8 am) and stay to sew as late as you wish. Anyone who spends Thursday night gets $30 off of that nights’ stay (that gives you Friday for free). If you sew for 2 or more days that include Friday (whether you commute or stay over) you’ll get $30 off your total bill. Such a deal!!!

The Quilted Sunflower hosted a “Posh Santa” (pattern by Sew Kind of Wonderful) class at The Creative Place today. Such variety in fabric choices, and all are fabulous!! Everyone has made great progress!

Eileen Urbanek, retired Quiltworx (Judy Niemeyer) certified instructor will be holding two retreats at The Creative Place, in Spring Hill, Ks. April 15-18 and May 13-16. Since Eileen is now retired she is no longer restricted to only Judy Niemeyer quilts. If you have ever wanted help on a Judy Niemeyer quilt or other complicated quilt pattern....now is your chance. Because of Covid we are currently restricted to 10 participants at each retreat, allowing plenty of space for social distancing. No food will be provided, but there is a full kitchen available or you can go out or carry in for lunch.
