As the crisp autumn air settles in, my heart swells with pride and nostalgia.

September marks Hispanic Heritage Month, and as a Mexican-born ice cream artisan, I'm thrilled to share a taste of my heritage with you through five extraordinary new flavors.

Each scoop tells a story – my story, our story.

Picture this: our new Blue Masa Blackberry, a harmony of earthy blue corn masa folded with juicy blackberries. It's a dance of flavors that speaks to the very soil of my homeland.

But that's just the beginning of our journey:

• Arroz con Leche: Comfort in a cone. My abuela's recipe, simmered for over an hour with fragrant cinnamon and cardamom, now frozen in time and flavor.

• Horchata Latte: A Houston twist on a classic celebration drink, blending traditional horchata with a nod to our city's vibrant coffee culture.

• Mexican Chocolate: Our beloved chocolate, elevated with whispers of vanilla and cinnamon – a taste that transports me back to childhood with every lick.

• Hibiscus Raspberry: Imagine the refreshing tartness of agua de Jamaica (hibiscus tea) embracing delicate raspberry notes. It's lunch at my family's table, reimagined.

Luliet Creamery and Bake Shop to mark 5 years of desserts in Spring Nelia Shehaj-Valdez—the owner of Luliet Creamery and Bake Shop—will be celebrating the 5-year anniversary of her Spring business.

Yesterday was the graduation of cohort 39 with Goldman Sachs 10k small business.

There is a lot to say about this program. It’s the best I had done for me, Luliet and the team. As many had said, I was planning to learn from speakers and guests but the most was every single conversation with the cohort.

This amazing business owners are open to teach, listen and give you the best advice. On top of it, they become friends and colleges to lean on to help in business.

I am forever grateful with the opportunity. It took every Friday and all kinds of time to make this happened but it was worth it a million times more.

Thank you for the team at Luliet 🙏🙏🙏 without them stepping in so I can have the time. It wouldn’t be possible. ❤️

My family that knew many nights I would be in front of the laptop and many days off would be work. Thank you! Hubby doing more than plenty so I won’t stress, my boys to see me and be quiet so I can work and my parents ready to jump in every time I needed help. Thank you.

4 scoops for just $12!

Here's the scoop on what you need to know:

Bring ANY BRAND of 32/40oz tumbler. Don’t worry if it’s not a Stanley; we welcome them all! Just remember, we can’t adjust the price for smaller cups.

Please make sure your tumbler is CLEAN & EMPTY. We’re using a special ‘scoop sleeve’ for hygiene, but a clean cup from you means a happy, healthy scoop for everyone.

Mix and match any 4 flavors! Our ice cream flavors vary in texture, so for the best experience, we recommend choosing up to 2 flavors.

Wondering how long your ice cream will stay frozen? A full tumbler can keep its cool for about 8 hours at room temperature.

We're thrilled to see you on July 20 and make this event a hit. Remember, it’s dine-in only, and dairy-free options have a $2 upcharge, but we promise it’s all worth it for the fun and flavors.

1. Stuff your Stanley with up to 4 scoops of Luliet ice cream for $12 - you pick the flavors

2. Use any brand clean metal tumbler (32 oz & 40oz - at least 3 inches wide at the top to ensure we can scoop your favorite ice cream)

3. One tumbler per person, and no splitting the 4 scoops between different tumblers or cups. All 4 scoops must go in the same one tumbler!
