Y’all this is where we are at. This year has been a record low for BB and it’s unsustainable. I am struggling, small businesses are struggling.

We love being a part of our community but can’t pay for the shop or our home with the current sales trends. We are behind and maintaining is becoming more of a burden than I have let on. I am not sure what we can do to make BB what it once was but we’re not weathering this storm well.

We did 50% of our usual sales during Witches Night Out, though the event size was the same as years past, which typically gives us the bump we need to make it through fourth quarter.

The phone calls I’ve made this week to our utility suppliers, mortgage lenders, and account holders have been devastating. I’m sure there will be haters out there that say mean things about me and this post but at this point, there’s really nothing left to lose.

This is sort of my call to arms.

If you love our family, if you love the events and contributions we bring to our community, if you love our products, please consider making a purchase online or in stores this week.

Making a post like this as a business owner, and even a proud woman who always finds a way, is devastating, embarrassing, and one of the hardest things I have ever had to do.

Because I don’t know what else to do short of picking up a fifth job and giving up sleep. Between the shop, special needs caregiving, my husband’s job, and Amazon, we are running out of hours in the day. It shouldn’t be this hard.

So this is my plea for help ♥️ Support your favorite local businesses. We are all silently and not so silently going through the same struggles. Trying to figure out how to make it work when everyone is just flat broke.

To everyone who has made a purchase from us in the last 5 years, we love you. We hope to find a way and stick around so we can keep doing this crazy thing called life together.
