Three Sections: Beginner; Intermediate, and Open
Everyone is welcome except anyone with a U.S.Chess Federation rating of over 1599, or Foreign rating of over 1399.
Come join the Chess Club every Tuesday at 5 pm. Prepare to enter the Chess Tournament coming up later this year. Practice and we can compete for the prizes. Come down to 117 Main Street Indian Orchard. See you then.
Chess in the Parks will resume in May when we can be outside. In the meantime, join us for the Chess Club. Every Tuesday from 5 pm to 10 pm (you don’t have to stay the whole time). We are getting ready for a Chess Tournament in the spring/summer. Everyone is welcome!!!
Please remember that Tuesdays is Chess Club day. If you want to play chess in the possible tournament next year come to this. Master chess players in the building every Tuesday starting at 5 pm. Chess in the Parks is for the rest of us and even new players who want to learn. That is next Wednesday at 5:30. Thanks for all of your support.

The IOCC has started a Chess Club. They meet every Tuesday at 5:30 pm. Come and get ready for a tournament I envision sometime next year. I am starting the Indian Orchard Chess Club.
The First meeting is November 9th at 6:00pm and every Tuesday thereafter.
Located at the Myrtle Street Park; 117 Main St., Indian Orchard, 01151, on the Corner of Main and Myrtle Streets. A large parking lot across Main St, can be used.
Bring Chess sets, boards and clocks if you have them, as the club has a limited supply.
All attendees must wear a mask irrespective of vaccination status.

What a great event we had today at Myrtle Street Park in Indian Orchard! Many came out to play and others learned how to play. We will be meeting up again on July 21st at 5 pm to see if we can have an I O Chess Club. Good times.
