🌟 Meet Akhila Vuntia, CADC, our dedicated Counselor Intern at Social Recovery Center!

Akhila’s main goal and passion in this field is to help and advocate for those who may not have had the opportunity to receive support in their lives until now. She aims to demonstrate that it’s possible to rebuild both external and internal support—physically, mentally, and emotionally—both in and outside of therapy. With a background where substance use recovery and mental health treatment are often surrounded by stigma or are simply non-existent, Akhila aspires to be the therapist and advocate for substance use and mental health she wished to see growing up.

We’re thrilled to have Akhila on our team and can’t wait to see the positive impact she’ll make! 💙
