LifeStar Ambulance, Springfield Division participated in the "June's Journey" Parade today in Auburn Illinois. What a humbling experience to be able to share with all the First Responders, Military, Law Enforcement and the beyond numbers of people who took part in the parade for this special little girl.

Thats one way to make your turkey nice and moist.... Only in EMS.

We'd like to give a big shoutout to one of our outstanding crews on the delivery of a healthy baby boy today! Strong work guys! And thank you to HSHS St. John's for the stork pins and recognition!

LifeStar Ambulance took part in the 911 First Responders Toy Drive tonight at the Crowne Plaza in Springfield. We filled the ambulance with toy donations for a lot of children. The cold weather didn't stop all the EMS and First Responders from coming out and making the event a success!

Friday Night Lights in New Berlin. It's their last regular season home game.

LifeStar Ambulance was invited to the 16th annual Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular at Washington Park Botanical Garden. Two of our very own, Pete Cadigan and Peggy Finley were on hand to hand out candy and talk to children about the ambulance. The kids loved the candy (and so did the adults) as well as getting to tour the ambulance.

Oklahoma Man Invents Light Bulb To Help First Responders Find Homes Faster An Oklahoma man says he is trying to change how fast first responders can make it to a house when someone is in need.

Paramedic Chad Dawdy from LifeStar Jacksonville has had two sever strokes. LifeStar has teamed up with his family and Outbreak Designs in Jacksonville. A t-shirt design has been made and is available to purchase with processeds go to assist with medical bills.
Chad has worked for several years in Springfield and Jacksonville aswell as spent some time on a helicopter. Help support Chad and his family in this tough time.
