Got some magnetic canvases 😍 First of the pack went to my dear husband, who requested Dr. Strange.

I consider the proportions and constrast a fail, bit I still like this one. I need to quit being afraid to receive a result I did not want! 💪

The Prayer Room - lots of details were left behind because I want to study anatomy more.

2 hours of picking and choosing details is exhausting. I'm excited to ✨COLOR✨, but lines are next.

Ps this is from no specific anime but my husband and I binged Re-Zero, so there's definitely strong influence. The coloring layer will separate the likeness more.

The same concept, but different mediums:

I painted the mermaid naga (oil) about 6 years ago. It took over a year to complete and is viewed as the most difficult painting in my collection. The much improved digital version took about 10 hours.

It's these small leaps that bring me joy. The struggle of artist's block is worth the agony to be able to see improvement in my work.
