Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio, translated as "Tears of Christ," is one of Italy's most storied wines, produced on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius in Campania. Known for its vibrant acidity, minerality, and rich flavors.

The Vernaccia di San Gimignano wine region is located in the heart of Tuscany, surrounding the picturesque town of San Gimignano. The region’s hilly terrain, with its limestone and sandstone soils, provides an ideal terroir for the Vernaccia grape. The Mediterranean climate, with its warm days and cool nights, further enhances the grape's aromatic profile.

The grape is one of Italy’s oldest and most distinctive white wines and are grown in the hills around the medieval town of the same name in Tuscany, Italy’s first DOC wine.
