Friends, today is our last day. I hope you can stop in one last time. I have so many thoughts and emotions, but I'll save those for a later post. We'll be here 10-9, and have a light celebration from 6-9 pm during First Friday Night Market. Cheers to six wonderful years!

We have two final days open: today from 10-5, and tomorrow from 10-9 (open through First Friday Night Market hosted by the wonderful Historic Springfield Events). We'll have light refreshments from 6-9 tomorrow as well as we say our final goodbyes! Stop in and see us! ♥️

Owning Main Street Boutique has been nothing short of an honor. I’ve loved curating experiences of joy and delight for our community. Just like all seasons, this season has come to an end. I’ll be closing Main Street Boutique on September 1 at the close of that First Friday Night Market.

Recently, all business owners have seen their share of struggles, and unfortunately, that includes us as well. It’s no secret that the pandemic, as well as the state of the economy the last few years, has really made it hard for small businesses to flourish.

It’s time for me to get out from under the weight of owning a business, and truly enjoy life and all of the blessings I've been given. My grandson was born a year ago and captured my heart in such a huge way. Spending more time with him is at the top of my priority list in the days ahead as well as nurturing the friendships both new and old.

Thank you for letting us help you provide gifts for your everyday celebrations and special occasions. I hope you’ll come visit us over the next few weeks, and I sincerely appreciate your support and understanding.

My grandson just turned a year old and is loving more and more foods! These sweet suction bowls, sippy cups and more are perfect for him to explore and gain independence with. If you have a little one in your life, come check these out! We are here Tuesday-Friday, 10-5, and Saturday, 10-3.

It's my birthday today and boy, did my friends and family surprise me last night!

I thought I was going out to a simple early birthday dinner in Nashville with Lisa and Jon Arnold, but really, they were in on it! They blindfolded me and drove me in circles around downtown to make me think we were heading out of Springfield...

Little did I know my family had planned the most amazing surprise birthday party for me at Historic Perk and enlisted the Arnold's to "throw me off the scent." I had no idea whatsoever!

The coffee shop was filled with so many people I love and adore.

There was a delicious charcuterie board spread made by my sister with help decorating it from many friends, flowers from Flowers by Teryl, a delicious cake from Gena's Sweet TreatZ, coffee from Historic Perk, fruit tea by the wonderful Sandy Burdett Ramsey, Donna Butler made her famous German Chocolate Cake, Lacie Beu made the beautiful mirror design, Kathy did the fruit and veggie trays and so much more.

My sister, Ann Bruce, and Paul, spent time inviting as many people as they could, decorating and more alongside family all day to make it special for me. I can't believe they pulled this off and I had not a clue!

And I'm so thankful to Lucas and Latifa, my son and daughter in law, who got a sitter and were able to come up and surprise me. I couldn't believe it when I saw them!

Birthdays are so special, especially when you're surrounded by the ones you love.

Today may be rainy, but we have sunny days ahead with garden parties in our future! The shop is filled with beautiful glassware for just the occasion. Stop by and see us today from 10-3.
