Our Story

I am first and foremost a writer, a former investigative journalist, a truth seeker and a lover of Jesus. My spiritual gifts are creative communication, mercy and encouragement. My personal quest for healing body, mind and spirit has led me on an adventure I never could have imagined. With an open mind and a heart to serve others, I have found solutions in the natural world, the places where God has created tools that we only need to be willing and obedient to put into practices and habits in our lives.

I'm especially passionate about helping people who are ready for change take their lives to the next level of freedom. I have been on several mission trips, launched two magazines, spearheaded a body image ministry, found success in network marketing, stumbled onto the beautiful integration of Christ and yoga and been blessed by cohorts in wellness who have led me to solutions that have brought absolute healing.

This is an illustration of the power of God’s grace! Once I discovered how to listen for the Lord’s voice, my world was turned upside down. Even in my darkest times, His nearness has altered my perspective and allowed me to choose joy in all things. I am incredibly blessed to be able to serve others by sharing the tools I’ve been trained in for a trauma-informed, Christ-centered approach to movement, meditation and breath. I also incorporate light therapy and nutritional supplements in my services. I am authentic in my voice because I am frustrated by the way we let things fester in the darkness, and I prefer to bring it all out into the light so the healing journey can begin.

My priorities are always God, family and community in that order. By His grace, I am a wife of 20+ years and a mother to two teens and a preschooler. They humble me everyday and remind me that only when I surrender my weakness to God can I find the strength and humility to live life to the fullest!
