All Springfield-Greene County Health offices, clinics, programs and services will be closed Thursday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. We will reopen at 12:00 pm on Friday, July 5.

Pregnant and breastfeeding WIC members, don't miss the June Nurture Cafe! We'll make recipe cards and talk with a nutritionist about eating healthy while pregnant and breastfeeding. Find us at The Library Station's Santa Fe room on June 21 from 10:00 am-12:00 pm.

All Springfield-Greene County WIC offices, clinics, programs and services will be closed Wednesday, June 19 in observance of Juneteenth. We will reopen as usual on Thursday, June 20.

All Springfield-Greene County WIC offices, programs and services will be closed Monday, May 27 to observe Memorial Day. We will reopen as usual on Tuesday, May 28.

All Springfield-Greene County WIC offices and satellites will be closed 9:00-10:30 am Tuesday, May 21 as staff members attend a professional event. Normal operations will resume after this brief closure.

Now through October 31, 2024, the WIC family health and nutrition program will provide additional benefits through the Missouri WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program (WIC FMNP). WIC members can receive $20 in benefits per person, annually, that can be used to purchase eligible foods at participating farmers markets or other vendor locations with an authorized farmer. More:

Do you know the signs your child may need help with their mental health? Every child is different, but if you notice a change in behavior, it could indicate your child needs support. This Children's Mental Health Awareness Week, check in with the children in your life and make sure they know how to ask for help. Talk with their pediatrician, or call or text 988 if they are in crisis.

Pregnant and breastfeeding WIC members, please join us for the April Nurture Cafe! We will be taking a mom walk and talking about putting our best foot forward. We look forward to seeing you 10:00 am-12:00 pm on April 19 at the Nathanael Greene Park Butterfly House!

This month, we are celebrating 50 years of WIC! Since 1974, the WIC program has improved the overall health of families by supporting and educating members about nutritional health. 90,000 people in Missouri use WIC each month, and we are grateful to be part of a program that makes nutritious food more accessible.

The WIC satellite location at the O'Reilly Center for Hope is closed Friday, January 12. Members may visit our locations on Grand Street or West Kearney in Springfield, or our Republic office for services.

The WIC satellite in Willard is closed today, Tuesday, January 8 due to inclement weather. WIC members may visit our Grand Street or West Kearney locations instead. Stay safe and warm out there!

Additionally, the Republic WIC location will be closed December 26. Visitors to the Republic WIC location may visit the Grand Street location in Springfield for services on Tuesday, December 26. Regular hours will resume at all locations Wednesday, December 27.
