Attended a beautiful womyn full moon ceremony by Karolina. Here I reflect on this bowl of water, rich with our ashes from our written down desires to come to fruition and releasing what's no longer serves us.

Don't fear carpentry work. Look it up or get lucky asking an associate at a lumber-tool store. Here I sanded off cup stains with a low number grit sandpaper, then used a high number grit, then used a poly stain. It's brand new again. My dad will be proud.

To set time aside to create for yourself and catch up with friends is such a gift to your soul. I'm sending you light to gift yourself 30 minutes to create something that makes you smile. 🌲

Here we make Yuletide crafts (crochet, beaded bracelets, yule log, ornaments). Tristan gifted me an ole tambourine and I fixed it up to be my energy clearer (instead of sage) and attention caller for gatherings. ✨

I spy a mini fairy nativity scene on my walk with heavy duty security. ☺️ Tucky is Tuckyzilla.

Been learning a bit about different cultures since living in the Chicago area.

It's chilly out and I got a night free... perfect for diving into books. Creative ideas are channeling through- planning mindfulness workshops and freshening up on my practices. What book are you reading?

Smiled when I found this book at work. 😁 I'm a huge beatnik fan. I even traveled their footsteps in Cali- visited Big Sur, Monterey, North Beach, San Francisco. I read this book, Off the Road, On the Road (Kesey's wife's perspective), Kool Aid Acid Test, and Subterraneans. And have more to read. These are great for those loving the traveler, rebellious and creative spirits.

How did I forget about this campaign. 😁 Adbusters saved me in college. I was in crisis of continuing my major in graphic design, not satisfied with commercialism as materialism was never my thing. Then I discovered design as a voice. I came across Buy Nothing Day in 2001 and posted flyers all over the art department. It started lively discussions and my love for visual communications was awakened. This is a campaign to just be aware of what you're doing.

As part of last week's Creative Retreat, one sesh I led was in discussing relationships. S*x is a topic that naturally surfaces although doesn't apply to everyone. So we discussed approaches to self-love. ❤️ Please share yours.

Why is this mentioned at a Creative Retreat? I see sexuality and relationships as vital components of enhancing and utilizing your creative energy. Being in tune with this energy connects us to ourselves and others, and even used as Kundalini awakening and Shakti energy methods which you can go down the rabbit hole in learning. Had a powerful weekend in Madison filled with creative energy and awe. Was grateful to be able to use my office for the last time to continue the spirit of Wilderness Wellness Retreats by Bradley Thomas and friends. Milwaukee Dream Library Mural on 57th/Vliet - what a cool idea! 🎨

The building is home to not only the Vintage Glass Garden but also the Rainbow Book Store, which was another reason for their decision to make the mural book-related.

Loved teaching tonight's virtual Sign Language with the Madison community. I shared the Disability community is the largest minority group and you can join any time. 🤯 I asked "What sound would you'd miss if you went Deaf?" 👂
You learn to adapt.
🤟"I'd be concerned for my safety. Can't hear what's around me."
Me: Well regardless of hearing you need to be alert. Head up high, stand tall, look around, know self defense. Your reflexes enhance.
✌️"I'd miss music."
Me: Try putting the speaker on the floor. You'll begin to hear by feeling the vibration through your feet. Join drum circles, feel the bass. See if it's high frequencies for you.
🤞"I'd miss the sound of my kids laughing."
Me: Try watching a video of people laughing with the sound off. You learn to feel the energy being given off. The smile in the eyes. It's not about sound.
🤌 "The sound of race cars."
Me: Well I can pass on that noise. They all laughed. But when there's a fire truck passing, most intersections have a white light that flickers an indicator.

Excited to begin a book on the creative process. Read many during my masters thesis on 'Creativity in the Workplace.' As I explore religions, I don't get as excited as when I learn, experience and talk about the 'Creative path.' As it's a way of self exploration, healing and awakening. A path I can see and feel. ✨ Launching new mindfulness arts programs soon.

This is sooo me. I remember about 10 years ago my sis was helping me move, lifted a box and asked what's in it, it's heavy? That's my box of rocks. 🤣
I use them on my altar, my desk, decor and to put on plant's soil to help keep moisture in.
I grew up knowing the story of 'Grandfather rock', Tell a stone your stories, rid you of your worries. (Try it with a child, have them keep the stone in their pocket and talk to it when they need to)
