Q: How long have you been a part of NSBA?
A: I’ve been involved in NSBA since 2004 (20 years).

A: I’ve served on the Board since since 2004 (20 years).
Q: Why did you join NSBA?
A: I grew up in north Springfield and raised my kids here, too. I currently own a beautiful
home in northeast Springfield.
Q: Do you serve on a NSBA committee?
A: I currently serve on the Program Committee. I look for speakers who are engaging
and can bring valuable information and tips to our members each month.
Q: Can you share a bit about your background and how you became involved with the
NSBA?
A: I grew up in north Springfield and was very involved in my kid’s schools. Working in the
radio industry for the past 25 years, this gave me the opportunity to help with
fundraising ideas, coordinating events and special Attendance Assemblies with our
mascot Nate.
Q: Can you share a bit about your background and how you became involved with the
NSBA?
A: The people! Our Board of Directors have heart, loyalty, and are ready to step up
anytime to help north Springfield grow and thrive! There is also something very special
about watching the reactions of students celebrating their 99% or better attendance or
students receiving a bicycle who need transportation to school each day.
Q: What do you find most rewarding about your involvement with the NSBA?
A: I love being part of an organization that mutually cares and gets actively involved to make
good things happen in north Springfield.

A: Enthusiasm, Connections and Ideas to Thrive and Grow!

The purpose of the Sales Account Executive is to meet and exceed sales objectives in their assigned territory by promoting and selling outdoor advertising to qualified advertisers. Target businesses in the assigned area and visit each established Lamar client as well as competitor's clients in a specified time frame
Exhibit working knowledge of local and national competition
Cluster accounts to work them efficiently
Identify potential growth areas and open new accounts
Use Lamar computer tools to locate prospects & follow up on leads, as well as prepare proposals, written presentations, and research
Develop their presentation skills by utilizing computer tools, and present to clients on a regular basis
Develop new product knowledge and selling skills
Actively participate in sales meetings, regional meetings, seminars, and trade shows

Compensation Overview:
The hourly range for this position is $17 - $17.50 / hour, and we provide performance bonuses as well!
Position Purpose:
The purpose of the Sales & Campaign Coordinator is to perform all sales administrative functions occurring both before and after the contract phase of the sales cycle. This includes: prospecting new customers leads for the sales team, preparing sales presentations and proposals, and coordinating the ex*****on of advertising campaigns sold by the sales team. In addition, there may be other tasks assigned by Account Executives, Sales Manager, and/or General Managers.
Prior to Contract Phase:
Prospecting new customers leads for the sales team.
Prepares sales presentations and proposals.
Provides product, promotion, and pricing information by clarifying customer request; selecting appropriate information; forwarding information; answering questions.
Coordinates and enters requests for charting or assists with the charting function
Coordinates and enters request for conceptual (sample) art for the AE’s.
Maintains customer database or CRM by inputting customer profile and updates; preparing and distributing reports.
Tracks sales expenses by tracking, consolidating, analyzing, and summarizing expenses; forwarding for reimbursement.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
After Contract:
Coordinating and monitor the ongoing activities and internal communications related to advertising campaigns to ensure on-time and contractual campaign ex*****on while delivering excellent customer service.
Informing Account Executives and customers about the current status of advertising campaigns.
Coordinating, managing, reviewing campaign progress and delivering the customer installation and proof of performance information.
Coordinate and/or obtain approval from the client on artwork
Coordinate and communicate panel locations in “to be determined” situations.
Resolves problems during campaign by investigating; identifying solutions; notifying AE’s, managers and customers.
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements:
Work requires an excellent command of the English language.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Gmail applications
Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy
Ability to timely and accurately enter and compile data
Energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to meet deadlines
High level of organizational skills, and excellent attention to detail.
Creativity, initiative combined with commercial awareness.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
