We are happy to announce the addition of Distinctive Industries line of interiors to our business. I really like their Buddy Bucket and their bench seats. Available in 54" for early years and and 58" wide seats for later year trucks. I just installed a red Buddy seat with diamond stitching in the 100% new 67-72 Truck Puzzle Kit. We made a last-minute decision to attend Autofest in New Ulm yesterday. We loaded up our new truck and some parts to display. The weather was perfect. Thank you to everyone who stopped by.

Started to install the 100% new cab onto the 99.5% new running gear. The center tie rod isn't reproduced, and I am using Sqr Body engine stands. The rest of this truck will be new, new, new.

Years ago I picked up 6' and 10' fork extensions. The 10 footers came in handy for Troy and I to get it on the frame.

I hope I can get some time to work on this some more tomorrow.

These have become hard to find. I have wanted to find an ochre gold radio delete plate for my 71 burb for years. I'll have this on my first order after they arrive at Key Parts. If you need 1 or more give me a call or email and we will get you on the list.

Made the trip to the fairgrouds this morning for the Spring Extravaganza. Sun is up, sky is bright and blue. This looks like a great day to reinvent your hunter gatherer parts caveman.

I got a call tonight from someone looking for a passenger side Panel truck utility bucket and brackets. Anybody out there have one to spare?

On to next weekend! May 5th is our first swap of the season in Minnesota. It. Is called the Spring Extravaganza put on by the Gopher State Buick Club. 13 years ago at this show was our very fist swap as Bowtie Truck Stop. We have come a long way.

One other note of interest. Our Premium 77-91 squarebody door does fit into the back seat of a 4dr Honda Civic. The sale was dependent on it fitting!

Well in typical Jefferson fashion, the weather was less than stellar. On the good side, setup day was really nice.
All in all, we had a great weekend with every visitor to our booth. We wiil be back in the fall. Until then please give us a call with your parts questions.

The Spring Wahoo Nebraska is tomorrow! 7am April 14th at Saunders Co Fairgrounds. The weather should start in the 50's and end up around 80-ish. It should be a great day. Come on out and find something you didn't know you needed!

Nice drive to Lincoln today. Great weather, 60-70 and sunny. We even managed to get a good spot in line.

This is the glamorous side of swap meets. Get in line at 3pm, wait until 3am to get into the building to start our 4 hr set up. 7am the doors open to the public sunday Mar 3rd.

I can now say I am not buying any more trucks for the rest of the year. This one snuck in under the buzzer at 4pm 12-31-2023. It is a 1967 MN State Fairgrounds truck #20. 1 of 3 that sold at an auction 15-20 years ago. I didn't buy this back then because the utility bed was ugly, and it hasn't got any better. The second pic will be truck #18 that I did buy back then and what it looks like today after Jeremy Laures ended up with it.

$500 NOS Oldsmobile Cutlass Drivers side front fender in barn fresh excellent condition. GM part # 414579 Olds Cutlass, 442, or Cutlass Supreme. $500 plus any shipping. Local shipping will be $35-$75. Outside of the 7 state Mid-West will be LTL truck freight. Correct for 1974-75 but you could change the side marker light hole for the 1973 model. Let your Cutlass friends know just in case they don't know they need this yet.

Over the last couple of years we have been getting asked about the 3rd gen A-bodies, 73-77 Chevelle, Buick, Olds, and Pontiac body parts. I didn't expect these panels to become available this soon. Complete cabin floors, front floor pans, LH or RH floor halves, 1 piece complete trunk floors or 3 pc trunk floor patches, trunk braces, floor drops. All those rust spots hiding under your carpet or trunk liner can now be replaced. I would be happy to order the parts you need and save you shipping $$ by sharing the ride with my stock inventory orders.

If you want to end up with a better truck you have to start with better parts. These are A and B Pillar repair panels. These pictures will show you the new, high quality tooling part beside the old tooling and you can decide for yourself.

The new A-Pillars are $42 ea. The old A-pillars are $15 ea.

Day 1 at Jefferson Wi is just about done. It was a busy day. The weather remained dry all day. Tomorrow's forecast is even better. We still have parts to sell and orders to take.

The trailer is fully packed. Squeezed in a last minute Chevelle roof skin. Ochre and Ochre Jr have figured out trailer packing means we will be gone. Check out the Madison Classics Fall Jefferson swap Fri-Sun Sept 22-24.

New high hump cab floors have arrived at my supplier. We will have a couple on our next stock order. I believe these are a copy of the 1984 to 87 4x4 floors. 1973-1983 had a bolt in humps. I also believe the humps changed again for the remaining R/V 88-91 crew/burb/blazer models. IF you know the differences feel free to comment.

We had time today to display a new item for Bowtie Truck Stop Inc at the show in Grand Rapids Sunday. We have the new rear seat frame for 69-72 K5 Blazer/Jimmy and 67-72 3rd row Suburban seats. The kit includes the bottom and back frames with springs, front tubular legs, tubular arm rests, x4 rear legs, and bolts to assemble.
