Responsibilities
• Providing customer service to clients
• Data entry
• Maintaining an organized and reconciled workflow
• Running errands for the office and other members of the staff
• Keeping the office area tidy
• Stay on top of day-to-day tasks within the office
• Troubleshooting software quirks for co-workers in the office
Skills
• Be punctual
• People person
• Be able to follow directions efficiently and quickly
• Maintain a friendly demeanor at all times
• Handle stressed-out clients. (taxes stress people out)
• Offer support to all members of the office
• Use windows
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel and Word
No income tax knowledge is necessary. You will not be preparing taxes. You will eventually do basic tax data entry. Bonus points if you are willing to work in both Springfield and Urbana.
