Garden of Eat'n Springfield

Last week, the Garden🌳 returned to Skyview Downtown and served smoothies at their Resident Appreciation Day event!

It’s always a pleasure engaging with our Springfield community. Many of the residents tried smoothies for the first time, then doubled back for seconds! Word on the street was the smoothies were bussin 😎🤣

Our August burger day will fall on the G.O.A.T’s birthday! To celebrate, I’d love to gather with community to show appreciation for the love my dad (Zeph) poured into the city of Springfield 🌳🤎

Msg from Damahya, to my Garden🌳 family— who I love and still get to interact w/ all the time irl 🤎🤎

So quickly, it’s coming up on two yrs of my dad’s (Zeph) transition. At the same time, I’m beginning to feel more clear (and more importantly confident) about adapting and continuing the sweet legacy left to me: the Garden🌳🤎

I’ve been in learning; as well as in grief. I’ve been at rest and at work. I’ve been wrapped in so much support from soo many amazing people.

I continue using art as a way to uplift an environment, fostered by an amazing man who just happened to be my father!

This is a digital scan and a photo from a Springfield grant opportunity in 2022. Here, I reflected on the Garden of Eat’n restaurant as part of the foundation of Springfield’s health & wellness community.

I continue to be in gratitude for the love poured into such a cause by Zeph, my dad.

I’ve been openly and optimistically enjoying the process of grief. To experience the transition of mine and my dad’s relationship from physical to spiritual leaves me pleasantly speechless. 🤯

I have been doing Garden🌳 work; some “old” and some new! (As this painting represents!)

I am soo excited to keep pouring into this legacy and make it mine! I can’t waittt for the ways WE’LL grow in community and make my Zephy smile from heaven 🤎🤎

Extremely excited for this ‘ladies night out’ at with the Garden 🌳 and

Next Friday, we’ll be running a Create-Your-Own Herbal Tea Workshop! ☕️ With winter just beginning this is the perfect opportunity for you to learn about some herbs that will get you through this cold weather!

You’ll get the chance to tap into your creativity while Ornament Making with Doll, and then top the night off shopping for the perfect holiday fit 🤩

We can’t wait to see you 🤎🤎

Yesterday we:
- learned how to prepare a smoothie
- learned the importance of using a smoothie to “break-our- fast”
- taste tested a variety of easy smoothie options!
- gave many folks their first plant-based experience!
