Although my teacher Ravi would never claim to be a Master as he is humble, I gladly give him that title. To me, a Master is someone who embodies the practice and has been dedicated for many years. Within those years (45+) he continues to invest in his own education as a teacher again and again. I witnessed this when the scandal with Bhajan happened, and he created EK, Evolving Kundalini, a community for the teachings to continue, but from an educated place of where the lineage of Kundalini predates Yogi Bhajan. He also gifted me empowerment. Years ago, my practice was connected to 3HO. I did the all white and turban. The tools worked for me until they didn't. I would spiral on of I had to wear the turban to practice. Then comes Ravis training, and although I say "he freed me," I know really he just gave me the tools to free myself. Ravi doesn't desire to be a Guru on a pedestal.
