The assistant manager will help the manager with their duties. Some things they may do are as follows
⁃ Help in running a smooth shop by problem solving and troubleshooting when needed
⁃ Is the best employee in the shop alongside the manager
⁃ Help in going to the bank 5 days a week
⁃ Making sure that dailies are done correctly every day
⁃ Assigning daily & weekly cleaning jobs, making sure that each job gets done
⁃ Ensure that cleaning sheets are being completely filled out every day
⁃ Help in training employees and shift leads. Assisting in retraining when needed
⁃ Help interview and train employees and shift leads, assist in retraining, and give write ups/performance improvement plans with the manager when needed
⁃ Taking inventory and placing orders on time if needed
⁃ Upselling to every customer and ensuring that all employees are upselling to every customer
⁃ Filling out the upsell tracker and reminding and coaching employees on upselling
⁃ Assisting with monthly employee evaluations
⁃ Ensuring that shift leads and supervisors are doing their jobs and fulfilling expectations
⁃ Make sure employees are staying on task and following the rules, dress code and company policies
⁃ Staying up to date on the store group me and region group chats. Helping with anything that is needed from those chats
⁃ Taking turns being on call to help with any emergencies
