These are the pictures that will be used for the yearbook.

Attention parents! Thank you all so much for trusting us to feed your children! Because of your trust in us, we have doubled our breakfast numbers! In order to continue to serve your student in a timely manner, we are going to try opening up both serving lines for breakfast starting tomorrow morning. Line 1 will be Elementary only and Line 2 will be Middle School. Please communicate with your student this change and please be patient with us while we figure out the best way to get everyone served!

Please note, our lunchroom doors open at 7:15, and breakfast is over at 7:45 for Middle School and 7:50 for Elementary School.

Thank you again for putting your trust in us to serve your student, we love seeing our dining room full!

⚠️⚠️Please note, due to delivery issues, Tuesdays breakfast will be sausage biscuits and Friday will be doughnuts 🍩 😋 Thank you for your understanding!

**All students will attend school tomorrow, Monday, August 12th! As a reminder, if your child is a car rider, 5th graders use the Pine Street parking lot near the cafeteria. 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students use the Main Street parking lot in front of SMS. In the Main Street car line, we form 2 lanes to help keep traffic off Hwy 11.

**Picture Day is this Wednesday, August 14th!

**Our 7th and 8th grade students will have the opportunity to travel to Washington, D.C. this school year. The trip is scheduled for May 5, 2025. There will be an informational meeting on Thursday, August 15th at 6:00pm in the SMS auditorium. Make plans to attend if you’d like to know more about the travel costs and itinerary for this exciting trip!

**Mrs. Wilkerson is selling t-shirts for $15 to benefit the SMS art program. The shirts are gray with the Springville mural on the back. Money and order forms are due by Friday, August 16th.

**SMS baseball tryouts are set for August 17th from 9:00am-1:00pm, and August 18th from 2:00pm-4:30pm. This is for current 7th and 8th grade students. Please see the email Mr. Cox sent last week for more information!

The SMS art program is selling t-shirts this year that feature the Springville mural painted outside of the SMS band room. Order forms will be sent home if you would like to order one. It was a great morning at SHS with all our feeder pattern schools.
