Insurance companies are coming to the rescue again in the metro area. I'm a recovering insurance agent that gets to make sure that people affected by storms receive their full coverage benefits for their damages. Most adjusters are great, but there are always a couple that love to say "No".

NOAA has intel that April & May of this year is ripe for hail & tornadoes in our area, due to extra warm Gulf Waters. Flash lights, candles, a safety plan in case of tornadoes should be reviewed with the family. A video of your homes
contents wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Replacing my siding right now>Learning all over again what my clients go thru-"the banging, the banging, stop that blasted banging". And I caught myself saying "Hey, what about that area, it does not look right?" Just to be reminded-"I"m not done yet".

Really its too cold to cut and install vinyl siding, and roofing has no specs for cold weather installs, but I don't like roofing below zero. Shingles are just to hard. It's bad for a new roof job if it's above 95 F, shingles too soft. Just walking on them can scuff them. Love working in the spring and fall.
