A special shoutout out to our racer .baker for being the first one to compete in all 5 disciplines at each of their respective national championships in one school year.
This takes a lot of hard work in order to focus on each discipline and to be training year round. Congrats on all of your hard work Ajay!
Wow! What an incredible week in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The team finished up their season competing in the TTT, Crit, and road race this past weekend at USA Cyclings road nationals giving it all they had for one last dance. A huge shoutout to all the racers who competed this weekend on behalf of Lindenwood, we are so incredibly proud ofd the hard work you have put in.
Since this is our last time all together, we just want to say thank you to everyone who has supported us in the past and present. We wouldn’t be here without your help. Much of the team is transferring in order to live their cycling dreams, and although this is sad for everyone, we will continue to cheer them on, because after all, once a lion, always a lion.
Thank you to all the photographers, specifically for getting some awesome pics of us!

Our road nationals team is headed out to Albuquerque, New Mexico today! This is our last race as a team, and we can’t wait to see what they do!
Stay tuned for a more updates on this next week :)
Our third, and last but not least, is Dillon Geary! Dillon has been on the team for 3 years, and is majoring in computer science with a minor in mathematics. He doesn’t have a specific favorite memory with the team per se, but overall enjoyed the time he’s had with everyone no matter the discipline. He races track and road, and a collegiate highlight was winning 2x national track titles. At the end of the day he says “I can’t even remember what raced I placed well in, etc, but I can remember all the great memories I made on these trips”. Dillon, congratulations and we can’t wait to see what you do next!
Here are the long awaited podium pictures and results from last weekends home road race. Thank you again to everyone who came out to support!

2024 ROARS awards!
Everyone has had a killer year and we are so proud of the entire team.
Shout out to .baker, , and for being nominated for awards!
What. A. Weekend. Words cannot begin to describe how hard this team has worked, and how far it has paid off. From being told we were cut in December, to making it one of the best road seasons yet, proud is a very far understatement. Incredibly impressed with the grace & growth in everyone this semester & we are so excited to see where everyone goes and does from here. Our home race was a success thanks to many many people, especially & we couldn’t do anything without you guys.
Thank you to everyone who came and supported this weekend, we couldn’t be more grateful to have one last race together as a big family. Thank you for your continued support.
The teams race results & podiums will be posted on the story soon💛🖤
Our second is Asa Black! Asa has been on the team for 3 years, studying Business Economics. He races Road, Mountain bike, and track. His favorite team memory is mountain bike nations in 2022 and 2023, he especially loved racing downhill in the mud at Ride Rock this year, but he says he fell in love with mountain biking at these two events. His collegiate highlights are winning Forest Park Tour of St. Louis twice in a row, winning the Marian crit against some stacked teams in 2023, and most important to him, placing 10th in the omnium at mountain bike nationals this past season. A piece of advice he has for underclassmen is to “work hard at your disciplines. You will probably never have this much time and flexibility to train again. Make it count and see where you end up. Of course, have lots of fun along the way and cherish all the memories”. Post graduation from LU, he will be attending Milligan to pursue a MBA and continue to race a collegiately. “I’m extremely excited to move down south and explore the incredible riding they have down there”. Congrats Asa, and we’re super excited to see you do great things!

Our first of the season kicks off with Emily Massengale! Emily has been on the team for two years after swimming from swimming to cycling. She races mostly Road, but has tried to Mountain bike, Cyclocross, and track on the team as well! She will be graduating with a degree in Sports Management BA and Human Resource Management minor. Her favorite team memory is meeting the team right before she joined at one of our :family dinners” at Spellman. ”That’s where I decided I wanted to join cycling because it was like one huge family and super funny. I felt like I finally found my people”. A major collegiate highlight she has is completing her first ironman In December ’23 and her advice is to “not be afraid to try new things!!! Trying new things can be scary, but they can be great and memorable adventures”! Her plans post-grad are to stay in the STL area, she’s currently job hunting, and continuing to race and train to get ready for Deaf Olympics in 2025 at Tokyo, Japan! Congrats Emily, so excited to see you do amazing things!

With Lindenwood having giving week this past week, and us not receiving a page since we were cut, we wanted to post today as “Giving Saturday”. All the money donated to the link in our bio will help our team finish out the season so the athletes don’t have to pay for things themselves. We have been so privileged in the past and are now struggling. We ask for your help so our racers can have their best & some of their last season at LU! Another way you can help is by signing up for our home road race, or sharing this post! Thank you so much for your consideration.
The team had a fun Saturday at the Midwest Cycling Classic in Indiana! Overall, great racing and lots of learning! Super proud of the team for pushing through this tough season.
Big thanks to Joe Vondersaar & for some awesome pictures of our athletes!

Wow. What an incredible weekend. So so proud of the team and all of their efforts this season so far, and this weekend showed off all the hard work. Tour of St. Louis, comprised of three events over two days, showed off our riders in the Team time trial, and two crits. All of our team time trial teams placed top eight despite the chilly and windy weather. On saturday after the TTT, the team headed to Carondelet Park to race in the carondelicious crit. With results in first and second in the P/1/2 race, to winning other categories as well. On Sunday at the Mike Murray Classic we saw this again, the men sweeping the P/1/2 podium and so many others putting out killer results. Results are posted under the “2024” highlight in our bio. Thanks for everyone who came out to support, and here’s to the start of the road season🙌🔥
Also, huge thank you to & for being awesome coaches & thank you to all the photographers out there this weekend helping capture all these moments!
