I want to thank every single person who helped me over the last three months in my run for 10th district chair

No, I did not win the election Friday night… But I truly believed that I accomplished more through losing than I ever could have through winning

My goal in running for 10th district chair was not to have power, or influence to control voting at our state convention… My goal was to build a bridge and help to heal some very deep wounds in the Macomb county republican party - in preparation for working for victory in 2024

The outpouring of support that I received from people who are on both “sides” (and I hate using that word) was the only thing that caused me to get emotional this weekend

Several people came up to me and told me that my character and integrity showed through, and that they had misjudged me - I hope this can be a lesson moving forward for every single one of us (including myself first and foremost) to NOT take anyone’s word for who someone is. Talk to a person and get to know them!!!

I was asked if it made me sad to throw all these papers away that I had prepared in case I won the election Friday - I said no…. I feel more satisfaction today; than if I had won.

I did not know what the result of me losing what accomplish… But if I had to do it all over again, knowing that I would lose, but that it would start to build unity - I would do it ALL over again spend every dollar, make every phone call, have every hard conversation- ALL of it

May God bless every single one of you, and thank you again from the Bottom of my heart for all the support and help!!!

-Benjamin

We will lead the 10th with Christian leadership, Integrity and respect

It has been insinuated that as a younger candidate I am “more likely to compromise my moral standards to get ahead”

That is not only categorically false, but an extremely elementary way of painting with a wide brush - basing things off what you did when you were younger is not an accurate judge of other people

I will not compromise my integrity and make backdoor deals. Whether it is to get ahead, or try and get people to drop out of a race - as I have been asked to do

When I say I will or will not do something, I will hold to that

If you want a Yes man, then I am not your man

look forward to seeing all of you at Convention!!

For any ninth or 10th district delegates going to the state convention… Please remember that you need to pay the $50 by Friday, February 17 and you have to be paid by 3 PM. Otherwise you will pay $75 after that for registration.

I have had several opportunities to get an endorsement for my race

Matt DePerno
Lisa McClain
Michigan Trump Republicans
Kristina Karamo

3 were offered and I said no - i reached out to a 3rd person, but did not end up pursuing it either - why you ask??

I spoke to JD Glaser right after I decided to run, and he said something that made an impression to me - and ultimately I ended up taking his advice

“Endorsements make you lazy” if people have a bunch of endorsements, they are more likely to not work as hard.

Now don’t get me wrong, I dint think endorsements are bad - not in anyway, but I chose to run my race endorsement free, and once I made that decision, I have NOT given up my integrity to take an endorsement, even when it very well may have won me the race.

If you want to see an example of my integrity- there it is.

And as always, my phone is always on me - if I didn’t answer, I will call you right back

Benjamin joseph For 10th CD Chair

I made a decision with my family, to run for 10th congressional district chair

I am running so that I can work with and manage/guide the delegates in the 10th district - in order to;

1. Get John James reelected. (And if he is not going to run again, to Vet and recruit a GOOD replacement to run for him in 2024)

2. Identify vacancies throughout the 10th district - school board members, city councilman, county, city and township, clerks… County commissioners, and library board members

3. Recruit candidates to run for these vacancies and train them so that they know what their job description is and how to properly connect with the voters.

4. Run constant fundraising throughout the year, so that when we have these candidates to run… We can also offer them some fundraising to jumpstart their campaigns.

5. Put together multiple subcommittees made up of people in their Teens, 20s 30s and 40s… To do outreach in the community, high school, and at colleges… To connect with voters and grow the party at every age level

There are many more ideas I want to work with the delegates to implement in our district…

Lastly - besides our monthly executive committee meetings, I want ti have quarterly meetings with ALL of the delegates (that will come) and have strategy meetings

Please feel free to reach out to me personally with any questions

Had a great night tonight at the county convention and will be heading to state convention in February.

I had many great conversations throughout the evening with some wonderful patriots - people love the fact that I am coming armed with a solid strategy/plan and am going to get the youth involved!

I was going to run for chair of the convention - but my body would not allow it.

Unfortunately I got pretty sick, and ended up telling people not to nominate me tonight

Was still a great convention - And looking forward to state convention in a few short weeks

I just learned something tonight

90% of people never give their insight on proposed bills to their legislators

Another area where I will focus on in the 10th!! Encouraging citizens to contact their rep or senator and pay attention to how they are voting - and give them your thoughts!!!

Also, pay attention to what bills your reps are proposing

01/24/2023

What is pay to play???

Who is trying to pay for your vote? And who is trying to earn it.

Keep an open mind and pay attention

Hello Delegates of Macomb and Oakland county!

Throughout my life growing up, my father always taught me to be a servant

My dad was always working from 6 in the morning until 4,5 maybe 6 in the evening and then he would pack up the tools in our family vehicle - pack up my brother and I and many times my mom and sisters and we would go and help a friend that was doing some remodeling on their house - or a neighbor that needed help

So I grew up my whole life, looking at being a servant to others as second nature

The more I see of politics, the more I see that even some of those who have run as “a servant of the people“ do not hold true to that when they are in a position to prove it

I am not running and “saying” I will be a servant of the people… because I already am - I have lived 35 years of my life proving it… Not saying it

10th district chair is just another area in my life where I feel that I am needed to help guide, organize and help people

May God bless each and everyone of you, and may God bless our United States of America… Which is still redeemable!

01/20/2023

Remember,

The district chair does not have the power!!

When the chair is elected, their job is to take the army of delegates - and turn them into an unstoppable force!!!

My job is to guide and manage, and turn you all loose to do what our position was created to do!!

Hope everyone is having a great day!!

Had a GREAT time this evening at the:

Rochester
Area
Republican
Club

From now on referred to as RARC

Theresa brought in guest speaker
James Hohman
From the Mackinac Center for Public Policy
Director of Fiscal Policy

James discussed the economy, inflation and a couple other topics

J.D Glaser (candidate for state chair) was in attendance and spoke and I received a chance to speak as well as a 10th district chair candidate

I was honored to have a few minutes in front of our RARC neighbors and look forward to working together with them to strengthen the 10th district, ensure another win for John James in 2024, and deliver victory in the 10th for our Republican candidate for POTUS!!!

Hello Macomb, and Oakland county delegates!!

I hope to shed some light on a rule change to the 2023 state convention!!

There has been some confusion on one of the rule changes for the upcoming state convention

There have been some reports that you have to pay the $50 registration fee by January 26 (which is the day of the county convention).

The rule actually says that “the state party will supply the link for people to pay no later than January 26th - and payment is to be received no later than 3 PM on Friday, February 17th”

Obviously, this does not take away the frustration of some people for having to pay to go to state convention - but you do not have to pay until after you know whether you are going to State Convention or not

Have a great day!!
