I had a fantastic time getting to talk with Macomb County residents last week. There's nothing I enjoy more than the opportunity to share my story and listening to yours. I'm running to build a better county for our residents and I am grateful for the support I've seen so far.

Protecting workers is a predominant part of how we protect Macomb County families from income and housing insecurity. I come from a union family and I proudly support our union workers.

Thank you all, so much for the support! We’re $79.04 away from hitting our goal.

If you have $5 or $10 to protect the future of local government, now is the time.

Thank you, again. It is intensely humbling to receive people’s support, and I won’t let you down!

I can’t express how honored I am for the support I’ve received to date. I’ve raised close to $10,000 more than my opponent had in his warchest at the beginning of the campaign. This weekend will be the last weekend I can fundraise before the primary deadline, and we’re $500 from reaching our goal.

My opponent is as right wing as you can get - and our local offices can’t be forgotten. If you believe someone working 40-hrs a week deserves a roof over their head, if you believe in a woman’s right to choose, and if you believe in a functioning democracy, please find the time to donate.

Every cent makes a difference, and I can’t thank you all enough for your support. It means the world.

This weekend, we’ll enjoy freedom earned, not given. A special thanks to my parents and grandfather -who served and protected that freedom. As Treasurer, I’ll make every effort to advocate in Lansing for tax policy that protects our service members the same way they protected us.

Today, let’s celebrate our freedom, salute those who keep it safe, and stand united for a brighter future for Macomb County. 🇺🇸

My name is Matt Churchwell, and I’m running for Macomb County Treasurer.

I’m the proud son of two military parents with a brother on the Autism spectrum. I come from a proud Union family, and I grew up in Macomb County. I’m a proud father of one daughter with another one on the way.

I have had a distinguished career serving multiple presidents, I served as the US Chief of Staff for the world’s largest law firm, and I’m currently a Director of Urban Strategy.

I’ve earned a Masters in Organizational Leadership, and I have an MBA from Detroit Mercy.

It’s time for a fresh face and for a new generation of leadership in the Treasurer’s office. I’m raising my family here, and I’m dedicated to making sure the County remains the best place in the world to raise a family.

When you head to the ballot box in November, vote Matt for Macomb.
