This may be my biggest dahlia seed harvest ever! I will have plenty to share in January! 🤍

I was walking around today and noticed what I typically do not. So much beauty in the rest. Everything is slowing down, yet a few still want to bloom. This might just be my favorite season now after all these years. The beauty of the aged, the eager new sprouts still.

I thought we were getting frosted Saturday night and I almost forgot about all the peppers and tomatoes! Lots of ripe toms underneath but I sure do have a lot of green guys. Any ideas? Definitely making fried green tomatoes!

I finally was able to grow eucalyptus taller than 6”!!! E. Tereticornis 💚
Cut them down as we may get frost tonight and I’m going to try preserving with glycerin. Pretty Cool Guys!!

Still being able to cut bloms is pure joy! We might get frost Sunday so I’ll cut what’s out there before then. Our first frost date is technically Oct 5, counting my lucky stars! Last year we had until Halloween. 🤞🏻🩷

The sale on Friday was a VERY conservative presale. Frostmas has held off here this far, but after the big dig another sale will be held. Unless a variety did truly terrible then there will be more of each variety available! Also!!! Some new varieties will be added as some have shown off their blooms this weekend!

Discount codes have been emailed to all that I couldn’t fulfill last year. If you believe I missed you, please reach out! I truly appreciate all of your support. I promise I’ll keep learning and get better each year.

I have quite the collection to share this season. It’s a happy mix of lower priced stand bys, some tried and true beauties and some seriously rare gems! My hope is to have offerings of many price points and styles to suit each of your needs. Please remember that I grow lots of varieties on my small farm which means most are in limited quantities.

There are 307 varieties of tubers up on the site, we had several that haven’t bloomed that I will carry over to confirm next season, but still lots of variety to choose from. I made quite a few pot tubers so when spring comes and cuttings begin, you will see some amazing new varieties available as well.

Oh my goodness y’all! The donations for our fundraising auction which starts Friday, October 4th are incredible. So many wonderful people have donated items to help raise funds for the underserved communities in the mountains of NC that have been devastated by Hurricane Helene. Every dollar we raise will help our neighbors.

I will start posting the items around 7am EST. They will be posted in small batches throughout the day and through the weekend. Each auction item will be open for bidding for 5 days, so for items posted Friday, the bidding will end next Wednesday.

Please read each listing carefully. Some will ship immediately, others will specify fall shipping or spring shipping, others will give you a choice of fall or spring shipping. If you choose fall shipping for live plant material, be prepared to keep those alive through winter.

Payment for items is due within 48 hours of auction end time. Contact me for payment details.

Remember, this auction is to help those in the mountains that need basic necessities like clean water to drink. Every dollar helps.
