This was my first time ever doing cross stitch. I did not expect it to take so long to complete it, but it was worth the effort. This was from a page called Wreck This Journal. The goal was to sew this page. So I decided to look on Pinterest for inspiration, and I found a kitty cat with a rainbow 🐱🌈

For the second page, I made it Able Sisters inspired with a sewed spool.

I’ve been going through a lot of anxiety for the last couple months, and now I’m starting to break free from it.

I got 3rd place! Thank you so much Aladdin 3477 and Matt Busch, I really appreciate it. I had fun participating in the contest. Everybody else did a wonderful job too.

Art vs Artist 2023

I’ve been so focused on my music and my personal life during the past year, that I’ve haven’t posting much illustrations, except for Inktober. That doesn’t mean that I wasn’t doing any art at all. I’ve been into journaling, crafting, and getting back to playing alto saxophone. I just wanted to take a break from drawing and explore new mediums. In 2024, I’ll do more Lego progress stories and work on more of my own character concept art.

🎉 I SURVIVED INKTOBER!!! 🎉

Inktober day 31: Fire

After failing Inktober 2 years in a row, I can’t believe that I finished this years Inktober for the first time.

Fun fact: Before October started, I wasn’t planning on doing Inktober this year. Until I was bored at work one day waiting for customers, and I said “Screw it, I’ll draw something.”

This is my ninja character, Harriet Nakamura. I also did rush on this drawing on purpose to fit with the prompt.

Jasmine Yamash*ta is my original LEGO character. She’s has a mutation in her DNA that give her power to summon her massive mallet to fight crime. However, that power doesn’t give her the strength to wield it. She has to train every day to become stronger, in order for her to master her weapon.

Inktober day 28: Sparkle

The Halloween concert that I was supposed to be performing in was canceled. So instead of my sax sparkling on stage, I let my sax sparkle for Inktober. However, I will be able to perform on December 3rd.

I originally was going to draw this with the brick separator removing the pieces apart, but I couldn’t fit it in between the bricks.

Don’t worry, my finger nails did not break during posing for this drawing.

My boyfriend was doing demolition at a house this morning and he sent me a video of him being the kool-aid man lol.

I really did not enjoy drawing this one.

Not only the pose and perspective on Tsumugi was difficult, so was drawing the water. I looked up all different kinds references, and drawing water is still confusing to me. Tsumugi feels the same way that I feel.

My boyfriend cut a heart out for the next page and I put a pepper slice around it lol. ❤️
