Great outdoor gig with the Crasherz Band. Employee corp event complete with incredible barbecue, drone races and watermelon seed spitting contests. Band played mostly country tunes for this gig. Nice change of pace for me!

Two long days at the Gem Theatre for the Guaranteed Income Now conference with Governor Gretchen Whitmer. Great idea that is making some headway in some major cities.

Great fun last night mixing the Bluewater Kings Band at the Henry Ford Museum. The band was off the hook and rockin’ it to the wee hours. Smart watch let me know I had 6,120 steps that night or 3 mile walking load in and out😳

Fun gig mixing the Detroit Mercy Dental Talent Show at the Gem. Some really talented performers, especially one student that sang a song from Beauty and the Beast - fantastic! Me up in the crows nest in the last photo.

Nice Friday night of original music at Cliff Bell’s by the Philippe Lemm Trio. Music had a lot of influences from Indian ragas to Brazilian rhythms. Perfect film score music! Philippe Lemm on drums. Jeff Koch bass and Sharik Hasan on piano, synth and melodica.

Another stellar night mixing at Cliff Bell’s! The Houston Patton Quartet were pretty amazing. I must be getting old as these cats looked to young to be that good😂. Houston Patton on sax, Roman Newhouse piano, Jack Nissen bass and Stephen Oduro on drums.

What’s better than mixing some great jazz? Having your buddies playing the gig! The Chris Codish Trio was great last night. Chris on B3 and singing. Lawrence Barris on guitar and the phenomenal Skeeto Valdez on drums

Great night at Cliff Bell’s with the Tony Monaco Trio! Tony on the B3, Zack Jones guitar and Reggie Jackson on drums. Killin’ all the jazz favorites like Jimmy Smith who was his mentor.

Second night at Cliff Bell’s mixing Tariq Gardner’s Evening Star band. We had Kasan Belgrave stop by the last set and play some flute. Awesome night of music!
