St. Germaine Catholic School
Growing Together in Faith and Knowledge St. Germaine Catholic School offers children the highest quality education integrated with strong Christian values.
We are a fully accredited Catholic School (since 1993). Our entire teaching staff, is certified, highly-qualified and dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing learning environment. We prepare our students for high school, college and beyond by offering a challenging academic curriculum, incorporating spirituality, athletics, the arts and social development from preschool (ages 3 and 4) through eighth grade.
Today is the Feast Day of Saint Germaine Cousin, who lived in Pibrac, France in the late 1500s. Despite her hardships, she lived each day full of thanksgiving and joy, and spent much of her time praying the Rosary and teaching the village children about the love of God.

St. Germaine,
You experienced much hardship and suffering in your life, yet remained steadfast in your faith. Help me to remember that trials and difficulties are opportunities for growth and spiritual development.
May your unwavering trust in God give me the strength to endure any difficulty that may come my way.
Amen.
St. Germaine, Pray for us!

πCongratulations to Sawyer Wilson and Abigail Jones who are the recipients of the Sarah Chetcuti Award! π
When we think of the qualities that embody Mrs. Chetcuti, we think of how she is helpful and always willing to lend a hand. She's kind and makes sure others needs are met. She is friendly and genuinely cares about your well-being. She prays for those who she knows and doesnβt know and she lets her virtues shine as an example to all.
When we think of exemplary students who embody the values of our institution, both immediately come to mind. Their achievements, both academic and extracurricular, are truly remarkable, but what truly sets them apart is their unwavering commitment to serving others.
Both are not just honor students, but they are also shining examples of kindness and compassion. Their hearts overflow with empathy, and they consistently go above and beyond to lend a helping hand to those in need.
As active members of our student council, they epitomize the essence of community, dedicating countless hours to volunteer work that uplifts and strengthens our school and the wider community. Whether it's organizing food drives, leading service projects, or simply offering a listening ear to their peers, both embody the true spirit of servant leadership.
Their excellence extends far beyond the classroom and into the realm of athletics, where they demonstrate their exemplary sportsmanship and leadership qualities.
But perhaps most inspiring of all is their deep and abiding faith. As altar servers and sacristans, they humbly serve the Lord with reverence and devotion, embodying the values of humility, service, and reverence.
In both, we see not just admirable students, athletes, and leaders, but shining examples of what it means to live a life of purpose and service. Their selflessness, compassion, and unwavering dedication to serving others serve as an inspiration to us all.
Please join me in congratulating the recipients of the Mrs. Chetcuti award, Mr. Sawyer Wilson and Ms. Abigail Jones. May you continue to shine brightly, illuminating the path for others to follow, and may your lives be filled with countless blessings as you continue to serve the Lord and those around you with love, humility, and grace. Congratulations on your well-deserved recognition, and may you continue to inspire us all with your unwavering commitment to excellence and service.

While listening to the stories, the students enjoyed a sβmore snack and a slurpee! This looks like so much fun!

Last week, five of our 5th graders visited our 3rd grade class to read "I Survived the Attack of the Grizzlies, 1967" which is one of their favorite books that Ms. Messel read to them when they were in her class. It is Ms. Messel's tradition to read this book to her class each year and the 5th graders wanted to join in and read it to the class this year.
Thank you Patrick, Grayson, Sophia, Emma, and Brooklyn! ππ€

St. Germaine 8th Grade Clap Out ππΌππ€
Last Friday marked the final day of school for our 8th graders and it was a busy yet memorable day. They began the day with a pancake breakfast with the 7th graders, expertly cooked by Mr. Makohn, Mr. Maciejewski, and Katie and Lauren Maciejewski. The class also celebrated Holy Mass with the school and the passing of their torches to their 7th grade peers. They received their graduation gowns and enjoyed one last game of kickball before leaving the school to the applause of all of their Spartans schoolmates and staff members. To commemorate their time together, they engaged in a water fight and created custom t-shirts. We love you St. Germaine Class of 2024! Next up, Graduation!
