Many of you follow along with my journey as an educator for Pravana. All of you support my decision to be an educator. These past two days have been wonderful here in Louisiana.

A great class yesterday with 12 absolutely amazing stylists who are now friends! I love making connections with others in this industry. There’s so much to learn from each other and I find my fellow stylists want to learn as well as lift others up along the way. I’m humbled and grateful for the opportunity to stand alongside you as we all strive the be the best we can in this industry.

Oh the food!! Eliza (restaurant) here in Baton Rouge is amazing!!

Today is Baton Rouge and then ✈️ back to Jacksonville.

A lot has been going on and I haven’t been posting it all.

Last month I celebrated 11 years sober. It gets easier and easier every year to be clean and sober. It feels great!

This month I celebrate 6 years of starting my journey with Pravana and 5 years as an educator. Never in a million years did I think it would actually happen.

6 years ago I went to a class that Presley was teaching. I was the only one that had my hand up when she asked who exclusively used Pravana. She then asked me why I didn’t work for the company. And that’s when I met Meryl Viess Berdinka and Marcie Hamilton-Owsinski. I got the information and applied to be an educator. I submitted my video and waited.

2019 came around and I got the email accepting my application and so I flew to Los Angeles not knowing what I was getting into. I passed round one.

While, this was going on I was helping to put my ex-husband behind bars and Marcie was kind enough to help me with the timing of phase 2 so that I could make it and continue on in my journey to become an educator.

May 2019 we all met back up in Tampa and continued phase 2 of new hire training. When it was done, we all got T-shirts and were welcomed into the Pravana family as official educators.

Fast-forward to today. I am a tier 2 educator, a part of our digital team, and get to travel and work with some of the most amazing people in my industry. I could tag you all in this post but there’s so many of you!! I love you all!

To say, I am blessed is too small of a word. This life as an educator is the first thing I have ever done for myself. I was 40 when I started it and I’m glad that I did. I have made some of the greatest friends and I have developed relationships with some of the most amazing mentors. I am so incredibly proud to be a part of the Pravana team 🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵!!!

It’s come time that I need to start to implement this policy.

I can no longer afford the cost of people being forgetful or putting the time incorrectly into their calendars. I send an email as well as text reminders for appointments. If you are not enrolled in both of these please let me know and send me your email or phone number so I can make sure you are properly in my system.

I love all of you that sit in my chair but if I don’t work I don’t get paid and a No Call No Show takes food out of my mouth.

My next candle making class will be on May 4th from 12-2. It will be at my house. I currently have 14 spots to fill. Let me know if you are interested.

My first rose of the season. I was so happy to find these rose bushes. Costco has always been a good place for flowers for me. I do love the Fall most of all but Spring really does make me smile too. Flowers blooming, berries growing, fruit trees blooming, new growth happening all around my yard. Makes me happy. Just wanted to share my joy in case you needed some today.

As today winds down I’m sitting here thinking of how grateful I am of all of you. 2023 was a hard year for me but also a great year.

I’m so thankful for your continued love and the friendships we have grown over the years. Thank you for always flexing with me as my Pravana side has grown and grown. Thank you for always showing up. Thank you for choosing me for whatever hair needs you have.

I look forward to 2024 with all of you.
