On Sunday, Michele shared a practical story with the children of what it means when Jesus tell us he is the bread of life. How can you nourish someone else with the love of Jesus this week?
Never underestimate the power of a Dierbergs sandwich! 🥪 Because Jesus is the bread of life we can experience God in the most common of foods. We can give and receive spiritual nourishment through the sharing of a meal. Jesus is the bread of life, and we are invited to share God’s presence with those around us.
“In Jesus Christ we have a savior who is concerned about our body, our mind, and how our spirit is fed. For that, we can say Amen.” Last Sunday marked the beginning of a new chapter at St. Lucas UCC. Summer Celebrations
As we wrap up June, Council Vice President Katy Forand shares some of the many exciting things happening around St. Lucas UCC. We have lots to celebrate this summer!
This summer St. Lucas UCC will be taken over by Blocks, (Ro)Bots, and Buildings! We are going to celebrate our gifts through science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) with multi-generational activties for everyone. We will have special activities after worship in the social hall and Sunday Fundays in June, July, and August. We hope you invite a friend and join us!
