Loving the Fall colors and the glow of the leaves. We were inspired to add colorful tights and a hand crotched vintage cap to our floral mini dress.

We were thrilled to add some killer bolos to our collection. They are an instant style elevator that anyone can wear. Now on our website and in store.

This ring is so amazing! It is not marked, but appears to be sterling. The stone is a large oval shape and is grey, orange, and black. In trying to research what type of stone it is, there were two possibilities, agate or a petrified wood cabachon. Either way, it is stunning!

The ring is a size 8.

The color of this dress on Selah is stunning! This 1970’s dress is perfect for Fall. Just add boots or loafers with socks, grab a bag, and you’re ready to go. Selah accessorized this dress with her own jewelry and boots, and we added the knit hat. We think she looks fierce!

We know we can’t save everything from the landfill but if we are drawn to it, we give it a try.

The tee brought back memories of an iron on shop that was in Westmont, IL where I grew up. You’d pick a shirt and then the iron-on design from the wall. I still remember how they would use the steamy machine to adhere the iron-on to the shirt - $5 bucks.

This one was pretty far gone and took days of work. Here are the steps I took to bring this “I am the Boss/Super Dad” 1978 tee back to life.

Day 1 soak in the sun
Day 2 soak
Day 3 regular wash and hang dry on clothesline - spray with water/vodka mixture

It came out clean with some fade out in the blue trim.

Meet Madeline, a theatre and vintage lover from Belleville, Illinois, who modeled for our Fall inspiration photo shoot- think tweeds, print mixing, hats, and unexpected pairings … Madeline’s favorite decade for fashion and media is the 70s but she also loves 50s dresses! She is big on feminism and loves the saying “vintage styles not vintage values”.

After first meeting with the creative team, we then met with the Stylist and Producer at our shop on Cherokee Street and wardrobed these actresses from head-to-toe to match the creative vision of a vintage-inspired production design.

We had a blast working with the production team and the models to execute this commercial. Stay tuned for more updates and BTS shots!

Not a day goes by that we aren’t thankful to everyone who has loved our brand. It’s truly a labor of love finding pieces for our collection and then doing whatever it takes so they are fresh and ready to wear.

It’s been a challenging year for many small brick and mortars, so when we received this hand written note in the mail, it was truly joyful! We really love what we do, and we love when this translates to someone’s positive experience in our shop ❤️

We know vintage clothes shopping can be tricky, so we put measurements on all of our tags. If you don’t know yours, we are glad to take them for you. Thanks to for illustrating the measurement card for us!
