For those of you who don’t know me, I’ve had an ongoing love affair with all things “design” for years. And as a professional writer for many different industries, I’ve had the distinct privilege of creating design content for a local shelter magazine as a freelancer and then as its Editor in Chief. I also dipped my toe into digital and produced nine issues of my own design and lifestyle magazine. That proved a wee bit too pricey to produce, unfortunately, and I had to shutter. Cue the tears, because there were many, many tears.

But a writer must write, right?? And a design aficionado must feed the beast, right? So, I started helping a local interior designer with her website content, blogging and social media, which led to another similar gig, which I’m still doing. BUT…I’ve just never felt it was enough. I still needed to do my own thing, be a voice, share oh so gorgeous designs and tell the stories behind them. And that’s why I started the Oh So Gorgeous Instagram and this FB page, which I absolutely LOVE doing, and I thank you all so very much for your follows, LIKES, comments and shares. But it still didn’t seem like enough.

If you haven’t guessed by now, I have a lot to say. So, I decided to trust that little voice in my head and start a blog, the Oh So Gorgeous Design blog which will be launching soon!
