Tom Jubeck, our Cedar Rapids Branch Manager, has officially retired! We recently celebrated Tom's retirement and his last day at Crescent with a heartfelt send-off. The branch team and longtime customers gathered for lunch from his favorite restaurant, presented him with a book filled with handwritten letters, and of course some Michelob Ultra. 😉 Thank you, Tom, for your hard work over the years, and best wishes in your retirement!

At today's company meeting, we awarded our fifth Challenge Coin to Nancy Bryant, Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist. Nancy was nominated and awarded by Greta Armbruster, AP Manager, for her exceptional work on a recent AP project. Congratulations, Nancy! ⭐️

Last month, we hosted our annual “After the Holidays” Party at 18 Rails in the City Foundry. We celebrated our employee anniversaries AND Crescent’s 80th Anniversary! Everyone enjoyed food, drinks, good company, and live music from the Charles Glenn Group! It’s no surprise this group knows how to have a good time. 🎉🍾🎶🥳

Sweat together, stay together! 💪🏼 Crescent team members attended a class with Maria Mudd at Fit Body Bootcamp for their Charity Week. All donations and non-member drop-in proceeds go to the late officer Mike Conrad’s family. A great workout for a great cause.

Last month, we hosted our Spring Crescent University Session! The values for this session were “Work as a Team” and “Push Boundaries”. Students participated in presentations, discussions, trainings, and a team activity. The activity for this session was an escape room, and it’s no surprise both of our teams escaped in time! We’re looking forward to our next session in October. 🎓📚✏️

This week, we hosted our first-ever, 1-Day Business Planning Workshop and 2-Day Profitable Pricing & Competitive Compensation Workshop with Ryan Ott, Founder of GroundWork Consulting. Throughout the 3 days, Ryan led with interactive and hands-on exercises to help our dealers understand their numbers, price for profitability, and create a future vision and plan for their company. It’s inspiring to see our partners leave, excited and motivated to incorporate new ideas and practices into their businesses. We are committed to supporting and providing our dealers with the tools and resources to grow and succeed. Thanks to our amazing dealers who attended and made these trainings even better, we are eager to have Ryan join us again in the fall!
