So this morning I was in a rush to pack my lunch and get out the door for work. As usual I had my iPad Pro sitting next to my lunch bag on the counter ready to go in.

As I turned to grab something from the refrigerator I heard a LOUD crash and turned to see that my iPad had slipped off the edge of the 3 ft counter and fallen on to the porcelain floor.

I cannot even begin to tell you the fear that I would pick it up and find that the screen had shattered. Now I have been using an UltraSlate case that was made for a customer and after if was glued into the case it was discovered that the frame had a hairline crack at the charging port.

This had been repaired but was not something we would send to a customer, so I figured why let this case go to waste and decided to use it for my personal device.

Below are a few pictures of this frames corner after the fall and the case itself. This is a prime example of why I always try to steer people to the UltraSlate frames whenever possible. This case is still functional even this a small piece flaked of the top rail (which I will probably glue back on) and the corner shows where the frame took the hit. Had this happened with a wooden frame or with one of our competitors cases I may be buying a new case or a having the frame replaced or worse a New iPad.
