In case you had't heard, we're changing our name! No, this wasn't our choice... we got sued for trademark infringement and couldn't fight a $6.8B company, womp womp.😑
It's all good though! We're turning limes into margaritas and taking this opportunity to refresh our brand and get back to our roots. Yep, running restaurants has been tough since the pandemic and we've definitely had our struggles with quality, consistency and hospitality. Nope, you don't need to remind us of our struggles in the comments lol.
Over the next few months Mission Taco Joint will transition to Session Taco. You'll start seeing the changes in the restaurants starting with a killer updated food menu featuring more coastal fare, like Baja Tuna Ceviche 🐟 and Crab Taquitos 🦀 , and some fun items like an LA Street Dog 🌭 and Big Ass Nacho. We launched the new food menu in Kansas City this week and will be launching it in St. Louis next week. Next we'll be refreshing our cocktail list, bringing back some more Tiki drinks 🍹 and a new Session Cocktail list that has lower ABV cocktails. Once we get all our new merch, glassware, takeout and other items in store, we'll wrap up the rebrand with new signage and website later this year. We're stoked about the evolution of our brand and hope you are too! Thank you for the continued support. We couldn't do this without you. Cheers!🍻 🥂

Meet the 🐙Squid Game Taco 🐙 made with crispy calamari on a flour tortilla topped with fresh lettuce, pickled carrots, sweet and spicy Gochujang sauce, savory soy aioli and toasted sesame seeds.
