What a joy to march for life! Every human being has dignity and deserves respect from the moment of conception to natural death. Love is at the center of why we marched today, and love is the reason we will continue to defend the sanctity of human life.

Mass with Archbishop Rozanski
Last night we had the privilege of hearing from a very special speaker Immaculée Ilibagiza. She spoke about her experience in the Rwandan genocide and how it lead to a deepening of her faith and taught her to forgive. She reminded us that being Generation Life means recognizing the dignity of every human person.
We started off programming tonight with some praise and worship. After that, we headed into a South County Showdown and a game of “Take a Chance or Do a Dance.” Hosts Father Fallon and Sister Karolyn asked each group some fun trivia questions where our groups got to show off their knowledge….and their dance moves.

We just heard from Chris Padgett.
“When we talk about loving our neighbor and being a part of this Generation of Life and proclaiming the Gospel, it has to begin at home, it has to be real, it has to be authentic, it has to be felt, it has to be tangible, it can’t just be here’s a warm thought…it’s an encounter.” Respect Life Apostolate - St. Louis
Here we go, Generation Life 2021!!!
Join us in our opening prayer that comes from "Evangelium Vitae" written by St. John Paul II:
Mary, bright dawn of the new world,
Mother of the living, to you do we entrust the cause of life
Look down, O Mother, upon the vast numbers of babies not allowed to be born, of the poor whose lives are made difficult,
of men and women who are victims of brutal violence,
of the elderly and the sick killed by indifference or out of misguided mercy.
Grant that all who believe in your Son may proclaim the Gospel of life with honesty and love to the people of our time.
Obtain for them the grace to accept that Gospel as a gift ever new,
the joy of celebrating it with gratitude throughout their lives
and the courage to bear witness to it resolutely, in order to build,
together with all people of good will, the civilization of truth and love,
to the praise and glory of God, the Creator and lover of life.
Amen.
