Happy recital day everyone!!!

Recital set up complete! Lunch with my helpers... Yes, that is a firetruck in the background. Yes, there were alarms. Yes, we were kicked out, but I'm the end after a long wait and patience the kitchen was open for food! It makes for a great story. Thanks to my helpers... See all of the OYT families tomorrow!

Last but not least...Miss Emma, our final senior spotlight for the season.

Emma started dancing at On Your Toes when she was 4, and started competition when she was 6. During her time at On Your Toes, she has been a demonstrator and staff member and has loved getting to know the younger dancers she teaches. She has loved the family she made here, and can’t believe her time as a dancer is coming to an end.

Emma graduated Summa Cum Laude from Oakville high school and will be attending the University of Arkansas next year with a Major in Biology on a premed track. As sad as she is to say goodbye, she is eternally grateful for the memories.

Miss Emma will be missed and has been such an asset to OYT and her team. We love you Emma!

Next senior spotlight...Miss Sarah!
Sarah has been dancing at On Your Toes for 15 years and has been competing for 12 years and her favorite style of dance is contemporary. OYT has been a second home for Sarah and she is admired and loved by young dancers she works with as well as her team.

In the fall Sarah will be attending Missouri State University, majoring in Chemistry and dancing with the Missouri State Sugar Bears Dance Team. We are so happy she is moving on and the dance journey continues!

We love you Sarah! You will do great things!

Up next...Miss Katelyn! Senior spotlights continue!

Katelyn has danced at OYT for 11 years with 10 years being on the competition team. She is such a wonderful spirit and such a solid dancer who has grown up at OYT. One of the great things about OYT is this is also where so many friendships start and she and her still to this day best friend, performed 8 duets together. They will continue to dance at Missouri State dance team, the Sugar Bears. Katelyn will be majoring in accounting.

Her beautiful smile and warm personality will always shine through and we wish her well on her next chapter in life!

Our bin is currently empty. Let's see if we can have a few souls to help those in need. Yep, we get it, lots of people and organizations looking for donations these days, so we understand.

On a personal note, after spending time at the VA hospital lately for my step Dad it has been an eye opening experience to see so many in need. Those is why I suggested this service project for my son for his PSR confirmation to choose to help. It hits close to home for what it family is going through and perhaps others are as well.
