I know I haven’t posted in a while and a few of you have been asking. Here’s some stairs I just finished. Before & After pics. Some of you will know who’s house this is by the dog in the pics!😂

Here's a small project I did for a friend's daughter and her boyfriend. Sorry, I forgot to take before pics. The old bannisters were white wooden spindles, with the small 3-1/2" newel posts and small hand railings on top. All of it was painted white and the spindles were coming loose. I posted pics of the new bannisters before staining and after staining. I removed all the bannisters, and newel posts and Installed new red oak 6" newel posts, red oak railings, red oak bottom boards and matte black metal ballusters. I cut and routed the dowels for the railings. Also I installed a 5' hand rail on wall going down stairs to match bannisters. After installation was complete, I stained all the wood with real black stain and coated it with polyurathane.

Redid my buddy's laundry room for his wife. Turned out really nice. Just what she wanted! Removed cabinet and wire rack shelves from wall. They bought a new washer & dryer (stackable). Moved water supply lines and washer drain over inside wall so that they would be behind washer. Built wooden floating shelves and mounted above countertop. Already had existing utility sink. Left it in place. Built wooden shelf for laundry baskets and install a butcher block countertop on top of shelf and over utility sink. Cut butcher block countertop and installed a piano hinge on it so they can lift it open to use the utility sink when needed. Stained countertop and shelves and sealed countertop with butch block oil to keep water from penetrating.
