A feelings chart is a tool to help children identify and express their emotions. 💞 Save this post to use this feelings chart daily with your family.

Start the day by having each member identify how they are feeling in the morning. Throughout the day, family members can change how they are feeling and identify it using the chart as needed. This will help to spark dialogue about feelings and how family members can help or celebrate with one another.

Some benefits of using a feelings chart at home:
- Gives children the opportunity to think about how they feel and learn how to communicate it
- Helps children develop emotional literacy
- Helps children find words for their feelings

The Pre-K classroom at transformed into future city planners as they designed their own city grids. This activity sparked creativity in each child, allowing them to brainstorm and discuss with their classmates the vision for their city.

When it comes to instilling a love for our planet in children, literacy plays an important role.

Introducing young minds to engaging books about nature, animals, and conservation sparks their curiosity about the environment and empowers them to become responsible stewards of our Earth.🌱

A recent creative event organized by .gaithersburg is an excellent example of this. It beautifully demonstrated how to nurture both a love of reading and a respect for the world around us in future generations.

The students at had an absolute blast creating their paper plate planets! 🌍🚀 Creativity was in full swing as each child chose their own vibrant color palettes!

In our CAMPVENTURE Summer Camp Program our school agers participated in the Historic Education program at the Gold Mining Museum at Monroe Park museum.

With National Get Outdoors Day coming up on June 8, and the first day of summer just a few short weeks away, it’s an ideal time to start getting outside with your little ones. ☀️🌻

🦋As part of our Kiddie Academy Curriculum, our children learned about the life cycle of the butterfly. We had the honor to see a couple of caterpillars grow through out the week. This week we were able to release them . All the children were very excited to see them fly away. 🦋

Preschoolers from Kiddie Academy of Middletown, DE received five stars on Yelp for their excellent customer service in this week’s pizza shop dramatic play. 🍕

The dramatic play center is an active area where children begin to explore many of the adult roles they observe in the community, at school, and at home. This learning center promotes self-expression, imagination, and creativity.
