Brewery Book Swap. 📚

It’s National Library Day! Bring in some of your old books to swap out for new ones. Miss Madilyn’s Macrons will be here for you to enjoy with your new books and a craft beer.

I am baking lots of flavors for Thursday at Common Bond Brewers including the German Pastry Stout macaron. Come by and get a beer and swap a book and get some macarons to enjoy.

Come out Thursday and get a beer, swap some books and then get some macarons to eat while you enjoy your “new” book. I will be set up with a full case including the Common Bond Brewers exclusive macaron, German Pastry Stout macaron.

I had so much fun this past weekend at the Alabama Medieval Fantasy Faire! It was definitely one of my favorite events I have ever done! I will be doing more events like this one. We sold out both days on all our macarons and almost completely of all the rest of our international cookies! I definitely felt the love ❤️. Thank you for a truly amazing weekend!

Tis coming soon! This may be my most anticipated event as I have wanted to do a Renaissance Festival since I started. I can’t wait to see Miss Madilyn’s “Magical” Macarons booth all set up.

I’ve been experimenting with new flavors for my springerle over the past few weeks. I am loving how this Brodie Blueberry by Whipzi has flavored these beautifully cookies! It smells like a wonderful blueberry muffin when I open the container. FYI, they go so nicely dipped in a lemon tea.

I am back from my Facebook break. It was a great time to recharge and experiment with some recipes (pictures to come). The first news to share is that I will be doing a pop-up at Common Bond Brewers this Saturday. I have already started baking and coming up with flavors to complement some of their brews on tap. Come out and see me Saturday afternoon, grab a drink, and enjoy a card game or just fellowship with friends.
Common Bond Brewers is at 424 Bibb St in Montgomery.

Our church is doing a fast for the next three weeks. I have chosen to fast social media, this will include my business page (making posts). I will still be available on messenger and can still take orders but you will have to reach out to me. I will still be working on my business during this time and will make some posts about all that I’ve done after the fast is done on Jan 28th. If you need any treats you can still order from me anytime!

One of my favorite things about the holidays is baking. While I get to bake with Miss Madilyn quite often I don’t get to bake with my boys very often. This year they asked to learn some of our family recipes so we made a day of it! (More pictures to come…) I love getting to share this part of the holiday with them.

Come out and see me this weekend at dream fields farm. I have about 20 flavors of macarons, sweet cardamom bread, amaretti, Mexican wedding cookies, peppernotters, Lebkuchen, and Christmas flavored springerle!

This is my last market for this year. Come out and get your desserts for your holiday gatherings. I will have a full case of macarons with all of my Christmas flavors, plus a full array of other cookies and holiday bread to choose from. I hope to see you there!

Come out and support all these small businesses this weekend. I will be there along with about 40 other businesses. I will have all my international cookies, cardamon bread, and a case full of macarons with some Christmas flavors as well!

I finished a few just to let my kids try them. I’ll have to finish some more for Joe and I when he gets back from his work dinner.

Working on a “new” recipe for this weekend. I haven’t made these for years so I felt a refresher was necessary before I make them for the custom order. Any guesses what I’m making?

I have plenty of thanksgiving flavors ready and will be starting a few of my Christmas flavors! I am also adding a new item this weekend… Cardamon Bread!! It is a Swedish braided sweet bread and it is my family’s favorite!
